Devotion #101 - [41414]

Jesus, before I start my devotion, before anything else, I ask you to cleanse my unclean heart, my unclean soul, and my unclean lips.. I hope that you will tell me want you want me to know and to learn it with clarity, Father God. Cover me father with your most precious blood as I read every words, as I absorb every details, Jesus. Thank you for your availability to make time with me this evening. In jesus name, I pray, Amen. :)

12 Things God doesn't want you doing to yourself.

(1) Looking back. 

Hi Jesus. :> I think these words from a website (http://bravosir.com/12-bad-habits/#) want me to start over again with You by meditating it. I do not own anything. I will use this as my devotion, 1 thing God doesn't want me to be doing to myself per day. Yep. There'll be twelve days since it says there that there are 12 things.. Jesus.. I want to know You. I want You. 

Honestly, Lord, I don't know if this will work. Kilala mo ako, Lord. Eto talaga yung una eh no? Hahaha. Weak point ko 'to eh. It says there: "It’s very hard to move forward when you’re carrying dead weight." Ang dami ko pong pasts, Lord. Lumapit ako sa 'yo, aalis ako, babalik, aalis, babalik, at eto, bumabalik ulit ako. Minsan iniisip ko na huwag na lang bumalik, bakit pa? Aalis din naman ako. But then, I keep on finding you. I keep on looking for you. I keep on looking on that first love we had. 

Nagpaparamdam pa nga sa akin yung isang picture sa Facebook. Ang sabi "It's okay to look at the past, just don't stare. " Then you said in

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Sabi sa akin ng isang babaeng hinahangaan ko ng sobra, "Jie, it is done." Ang lalim. Ang dami kong naiisip kapag naaalala ko yung "Jie, it is done." Na para bang sinasabe ng Lord sa akin, "Anak, I've done it 2000 years ago. Many, many, many years ago. You just gotta hold on me. You don't need to fight for me. You just hold on me because I'm fighting for you.."

Sabi ng Lord, for I know the plans I have for You, ang Lord lang ang nakakaalam kung ano yung great plans niya sayo..

Lord, if I keep this is my mind, this verse, this time, I will not forget it. I will always hold onto it. Oo, this time Lord magtitiwala po ulit ako. Na may plano po kayo sa akin saying "My child, I am not done with you yet. There are many things to come." Tapos na, tapos niya ng ipakita kung paano niya ako minahal.. But He wants me to see how precious I am to Him.. Na kaya niyang ibigay yung best so akin even if I'm not worthy.. It's just.. God.. God is so gracious. He is so kind. He is Love..

Sabi pa ng Lord..

Isaiah 43:18-19

“Remember not the former things,

nor consider the things of old.

Behold, I am doing a new thing;

now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?

I will make a way in the wilderness

and rivers in the desert. 

Remember not the former things, because He is doing a new thing. You are a walking miracle. There is change in God's presence. You are the miracle. The moment na inaccept ko si Christ sa buhay ko, I am a living miracle. Patunayan mo. Patunayan mo sa buhay mo na isa kang walking miracle. Unti-unti kang magpabago Jie.. Unti-unti kang sumunod. Just let go..

Let go of the things na nagpapalayo sa 'yo sa Lord. It is not worth it. It will only fade, sooner and later. Sabi mo pagod ka ng panghawakan ang mga bagay na hindi naman permanente 'di ba? Then, let go of it. Hawakan mo yung mga bagay na eternal. Be a blessing. Jie.. let go..

1. Let go. Let the past go. Let go of the pain. Let go of the anger. Let go of the emptiness. 

2. Look at the past, don't stare. Learn from it.
