Prologue
Kylie Perrez has a not-so perfect life in or out of school. Having a bad record in school, almost once a week, Kylie finds herself sitting in the same seats at the Main Office. They say no one can change the way she acts; not her friends, not a teacher, not a parent, and not even Kylie's crush.
Being a only a sophomore, Kylie has been going through a tough time every since she was in sixth grade. Kylie tells everyone, "If you were in my shoes, you probably wouldn't be the best behaved student either."
In the start of sixth grade, her parents, Janelle and George Perrez, got divorced. Before they signed the divorce papers, Kylie was a great student, had lots of friends, was very nice, respectful, and was basically a goody-too-shoes. After the papers were signed and Kylie was moved in with her dad, everything spiraled out of control.
She has met with guidance counselors plenty of times, but nothing seems to work. Kylie has about three friends, and she has had no boyfriend, which she still gets teased about. Her life is harder than it sounds.
Can she prove those people who said that no one could change her wrong? Will she stay lonely forever with no one by her side? During this heck of a journey, she will face her fears, lose some important things in life, and possible fall in love.
