Traitor

I run away

I have been betrayed

By that monster

I want to run

From it

But the monster I run from

Is me

Wars

Wars rage in my head

Another day, another battle with myself

Repeatedly, I wonder why

Silently, I scream for my Savior

Dark and Light

We are so different, 

Yet so similar.

I am the dark,

And you are the light.

We became inseparable that day,

When I received your light,

And you took my darkness,

Away.
