AN: This is my first poem! PLEASE comment, but understand that I have NEVER written poetry before. I would also like to direct you to Nan's Jewel, one of my fiction works. Thanks, and enjoy!

Driving High

By: Kaitlin Farley

Those that drink

And those who sigh

Tend to blink

While being high.

Please don't drink,

It ruins lives.

It can cause a broken link,

More real than stabbing knives.

I beg you now.

This is no time for fun.

Don't take a bow,

For now a life is none.

You may live,

While they may die,

They won't forgive,

That you were driving high.

All it takes it just one word,

No.

It may be one; it may be your third

Just don't throw a show.

I beg you now.

This is no time for fun.

Don't take a bow,

For now a life is none.
