instead of having someone to take care of her, she is the one taking care of her little brother. instead of having a mother thats passionate and caring, she had one that left her and ran away. instead of having a father thats supporting and loving, she had one that just took off, without looking back.
she isn't poor. she isn't ugly. but she also isn't happy.
the things any child wants, she have, but the things she needs, arn't there.
she is just any other kid, but she have to be mature for taking care of her brother.
she is somewhere where she isn't aloud to act as a child, or experience the fun and hopes a child might experience, she have to be an adult, even if she's just 10 years old.
so where does her childhood fantasies go? where does the smiles and laughs that she never laugh disappear?
her imagination had to make a safety net, that might actually save her life.
