"And lastly, Jane and Dean!"

I froze in spot as the last three words of the sentence repeated in my head, over and over again. No, freaking, way. NO, JUST NO! I am a nerd. He is a player. We can't be partners for this baby project, that's just wrong, oh my gosh!

"Wait, Mrs. Daphne, tell us more about this project," Dean said, amusement evident in his voice. "Are we suppose to make babies, or are we suppose to take care of babies?"

"Oh my God," I shrieked in fear. I don't feel like knowing already, better yet learning!

"Very funny, Shawn," Mrs. Daphne responded monotonously, "for this project, since you are the first class to be doing this, we are trying out something new. For two weeks starting from next week, you don't have to come to school."

The whole class roared with cheers and whistles, but it wasn't long before it ceased as Mrs. Daphne's voice boomed again.

"But," Mrs. Daphne continued, causing the whole class to fall silent in disappointment, "you will all have to babysit two kids, ages above two. And, all of you have to write down what you have done at the end of the day as reflection."

I think the only reason why we're able to not come to school for two weeks next week is because the examinations are over and that it's time to tire us out more.

"Boo!" Everyone chorused.

"Remember, this is graded! Oh, and I'll give you exactly three whole weeks to plan everything out until it is flawless and hand your paper works up to me." She said again, amused by everyone's unappealing reactions.

The school bell rang, and I thanked God that it was time to go back home. At least I know Shawn a little better considering his unidentical twin sister's my best friend.

"You want a ride home?" Dawn, my best friend, also known as Dean's sister, came over to me and smiled at me. She shot Dean a glare before turning back to me with her nose scrunched up.

I got up from the chair and slung my bag over my shoulder, "Can I?"

"No, twat, you c-" And before Dean could start irritating me, my savior of the day interjected.

"-an, of course! After all, today's my day to drive. I can drive to wherever the hell I want to, and Dean has no choice but to come along. Thay was Dad's instruction."

Trust her to be the younger twin. She's practically controlling her older twin! I smiled in amusement, "Great then."

"Oh, by the wa-" Dawn got cut off by her dearest twin brother.

"Hey, can you two stop the chit-chat? I'm fucking tired and I need sleep," Dean groaned and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Looks like the big baby needs his sleep, let's go, shall we?" Dawn teased, before hooking her arms with mine. Then, we ran out of the classroom and dashed down the hallway just in time to reach the school's entrance.

She reached for the car keys in her jean pocket and took it out, unlocking the car with a swift motion. "Get in the car, Jane, before the big baby comes out wailing that we didn't wait for him."

I laughed, and then I felt a presence behind me which made me shut up.

"I heard that," Dean groaned, I suppose, aiming it at both Dawn and me. I crawled onto the car seat at the front - I was riding shotgun. And, it rhymed!

"Well, you're supposed to, Dean," Dawn smirked and started the ignition. "So are you getting into the car or not?"

"Whatever, do I have a choice? I think not." He mumbled to himself and climbed onto the backseat. Then he intentionally fell face-first onto the seat, and the next thing we heard was soft snores coming out from the big baby's mouth.
