I opened the door to the bus and climbed the stairs. Reaching the top part, I look to my left and see Nicholas with Maya, both studying

Maya rolled her eyes as Nick smiled sweetly - sure.. we were talking but it's cool - he says looking at his best friend

Maya didn't really like me ever since she met me. We first said hellos last year when I was the one chosen to participate in Camp Rock as Mitchie. Nick didn't tell me why she didn't dig me.. he said that she was just being dumb and for me to forget about it.. but I couldn't

We were in Anaheim, on their Burnin' Up Tour, rehearsing and practicing for the concerts.. these next two shows were going to be recorded and then made into a movie.. I was excited that I got to be a part of it

I had a guess as to why Maya didn't like me.. she has been with Nick ever since they were in diapers and was his proclaimed best friend.. but as time went on and as life kept going, Nick told me they started drifting apart a little.. and of course, because I was living the same life the brothers were, I was slowly "taking her place".. specially in Nick's life..

Nick has now been dating my best friend Selena Gomez for quite a while, so obviously, being the best friend of both of them, I was practically the holy grail.. they would ask me stuff about the other one as much as they talked, which was a lot..

With time, me and Nick, not also grew closer about them as a couple, but also because of music. Me and him wrote songs together for fun and as much as we could.. he would have a break and he'd call me up as soon as he could so we could start our session in the 10 min he had.. we had a lot of co-written songs at the moment

I sat down next to Nick in the booth and put my notebooks down.. we were all the same age so we were all learning the same things

I looked over at Nick's books and noticed that he was doing Spanish and Maya was doing Biology..

- Hum.. do any of you need help? - I asked

- No, we don't - Maya answered giving me a fake smile

I nodded and looked down seeing in my peripheral vision Nick nudge her under the table

I then opened my books and sighed.. Maths.. there was nothing I hated more.. I start doing exercises and hear Nick talk to Maya about everything and anything. Then, everything got quiet, which meant that they were now both doing their work
