"Elysia! I'm so glad to see you!" boomed Sirius, enveloping me in a warm hug.

"Good to see you too!" I replied happily, burying my face in his shoulder for a few moments.

"And who might this young lady be?" he continued, turning his gaze to Viperous.

"I'm Viperous Rose... Elle's-" she began, before pausing to await my approval.

"She's my sister." I said happily, smiling at both her and Sirius.

Suddenly, Sirius's face turned very grave as he spoke his next words, saying, "Girls, follow me please."

Placing one hand on each of our backs, he pushed us in to a small room that contained only three small armchairs, a coffee tables and the remnants of a fire. Seating himself in the centred chair, he signalled to the surrounding chairs for us to sit.

"Girls... Dumbledore has spoken to me about your... circumstances-" he said, making thoughts of Dumbledore's explanations fill my mind, before he continued.

"What with Voldemort's effects on your family, and has informed me that you may join the Order of the Phoenix regardless of your age." he finished.

Voldemort's effects on our family? Not his... involvement in our family? Sighing with relief, I smiled at Viperous, before pausing with confusion. The Order of the what? Viperous seemed to have been reading my mind, because in a few seconds she added slyly,

"Not to sound stupid... But what is the Order of the Phoenix?"

"The Order is the rebel force, if not army, that was formed years ago, after You-Know-Who's rise. We have rebanded after recent reports from none other than Harry Potter." he explained, his face crinkling as he spoke of the original Order.

"A rebel force against Voldemort?" I said, causing Sirius to flinch when I actually said the name.

"Indeed..."

"I am in... I will help in any way that I can." I said, beaming at him proudly.

The idea struck me that I was not alone.

It was a strange thing to say for me, but for the first time in my life I was settling in... I had a sister, who had been my friend long before she had been my sister, who understood my situation better than I did myself. I had Neville, the guy who was my greatest friend and who I kind of... liked.

And now, to top it all off, I had the Order of the Phoenix... I had somehow found myself amidst so many people who had been hurt by Voldemort... my father, or better named my creator... I tried to ignore the obvious fact that I was connected to the man that had ruined so many lives.

"I knew you would!" boomed Sirius, smiling wide at me, "And what about you, Viperous?"

Her eyes immediately changed to a bright, embarrassed pink, "I... Can... Can I talk to Elysia, alone, for a moment?"

Sirius nodded solemnly, leaving us alone in the small room. How could Viperous not join the Order? How could the girl that had only recently added her blood to a resurrection potion in order to condemn her father not join the force against him?

"Viperous, why not?" I began, leaning forward to talk to her.

"Elysia, don't forget that I won't be here forever. It's too dangerous for me to join the Order and know any of this information." said Viperous, her eyes narrowing bitterly.

I opened my mouth to speak, but Viperous hushed me immediately, instead speaking herself.

"I know that I'm going to be gone soon, I just want you to remember that. I don't know what my addition to Voldemort's resurrection potion will be, or even if it will kill him, but I hope it affects him somehow. But that's where it ends for my rebellion, from now on I'm going to enjoy my friends and, now, my family."
