26- The Goddess and  Her Tragic happiness.

It's been a three years since I'm trying bury the thought of what happen to Ashen. I wanted to go and see him but Alpha Desmond said it was too dangerous to go there.

I glare outside the huge window from my office as I watch pack pups running about playing with each other. Teenagers  girls were busy gossiping about the teen boys that were busy climbing trees and just being boys.

It was cycle... enjoying life until you find your mate.

I glance at magazine in my hand where he stood in the swamp of photographers and fans screaming his new name and to get an autographs. The look on his face was shocked and terrified as he tried to cover all the current happening in his life with a simple smile.

I skip to the page where the entire story was written. It was like a celebration to have their writer back in town. I started to read and it goes like;

Anthony Baker was spotted leaving Bournville International Airport on Sunday February in a faded blue jeans, white t-shirt and his signature wool Jacket. According to his Agency 'Great Mogul Writers' he left on a  one year writing vacation to get inspired for his new upcoming which name haven't be revealed as yet.....

But I stop reading and glare at the other magazine that had his pictures and new novel plastered all over it.

"Felisha," Xavier voice sounded  from the doorway dress in a jean and dress tshirt that he wore to a council meeting earlier.

"Yea," I answered still starring at the books. He step in further with one hand hidden behind him.

What was his surprise now?

He walked over towards me and pulled me into his heart fluttering kisses that I couldn't get tired off. I moan into the kiss tighten my arms around his neck until he pulls away, smiling down at me.

"As much I love doing that all evening, I wouldn't want us to delay your afternoon walk or training class." he peck my lips.

"What are you planning?" I asked with a grin circling his neck as I tip on my toe and he lift me up carrying me to the sofa where we collide in a soft thud.

"I have a gift." he said sitting up as I did the same on his lap. "Don't you always do." I said excitedly jumping a bit.

"Don't ruin the moment," he pouted at me. "Sorry," I giggle childlishly. I watch as he took a small box wrap in a white gift paper.

I eye him closely taking the gift from him and unwrap it until I came up on box with a note. I took the note in my Hand and open the box to find a crystal box and inside that box was a wooden trees house, just like the one we had our first date in. I grasp glaring up at him and open to read two simple words;

Happy Anniversary

"oh babe, Thank you." I kiss him.

"I saw the look on your face when I hand the tree over to Desiree last month and thought you should have your own." he said.

"I wasn't upset about it. I was remembering our happy moment before every clash." I said as I held my head my head my down.

"It ok honey, I remember every moment and I cherish them too." I said as my eyes started to water.

"It's ok," he cupped my cheeks and then hugged me tightly.  We stood like that cuddle up in each other harm as I sob a bit. Until he lean me up.

"I think it's time for your goddess nature walk." he said. I glance at my watch and nodded. I got up as I slowly change into my sher suit.

"I'll go alone with her today." I manage to say reffering to my sister Alaine.

"Ok, I'll tell everyone training is cancel today." he said.

"yea, I think im going to take a while." I said as I turn to the open window.

"Felisha,"

"Yea."

"Can you take the path that lead to the lake?."

"Yea, why?"

"For a closure." he kiss my forehead and head out the door leaving me in wonderment. I shook my head and jump out landed in the yard to find Alaine waiting for me in wolf form. It was hard to disget the whole situation that happen to her but I was happy she was life and Henry couldn't be more happy. He himself stayed human form until Alaine got pregnant and gave birth to twins and he have stayed to guide his pups.

I touch my stomach and smile. I couldn't wait to deliver the news to Xavier as his Anniversary present. I could see his grin widening about Desiree getting a sibling according to him Desiree need some sister or brother play with apart from Charlie her dog.

"And you still haven't tell him?" Alaine burst into my thoughts.

"I will tonight on our date." I said.

"ok, lets run." she said as I slowly morphs into my beautiful white wolf sprinting towards our spot in the forest. We ran loving the feel off the wind on our fur and listening to nature.

We came to a stop in our spot laying down for an hour or so until Alaine vanish to find a present for Henry. I lay there until I feel someone watching me I got up in alert glancing around to hear the loud gushing of water. I follow the sound until I came up to a rock.

I glance around slowly transforming into my goddess suit. I walk closer where I saw a piece of paper sticking out. I took it out to find Ashen handwriting. I pull it open.

It reads;

I wish that we could do it over again,
Every smile, every tear, every part
Cause I know nothing ever will end,
if it's safe inside our hearts
So let's move on but never let go,
As we take these steps on our own
Whatever will be, I'll remember you so remember me

I read it over a zillion times until I feel someone behind me and I turn to see Ashen wolf starring at me as the evening sunlight glare on his beautiful amber fur but he vanish before I could say a word.

I read the note again before hearing a splash sound and I glance across the lake to see Ashen wolf smiling at me before walking into the light. But stop glancing at me and I hear him say softly in my thoughts.

"Go and teach your son not to make the same mistake." he whisper and vanish.

"I will." I replied in a soft breath sitting on the rock. I sat there feeling happy inside, I was happy that my life was happy and even though a few things turn out tragic, I got to be happy and love.

I folded the note taking off my archer case and took out my favourite bow unscrew the piont and stuff the note inside with a smile and screw it back on it, then I dig a hole and bury it underneath placing the rock over it.

And that's when realize, I may not recieved the happiness I wanted but I got close it.  I smile at the clear water again before walking leaving it all behind...
