{it's growing, you just can't see it.}
by Dyllan Shaw
---------------------------
Perceptions retained.
Hidden inside from the messes I've made.
My past.
Full of regrets and spells cast.
I've lived long enough tied to this digression
Of self hate and deep depression.
Like heroes from my early days,
Come to help with the travesties I've made,
I'll fight my way out of this haze
And run.
Run like the tides, as they race for the shore.
Head towards the sun, then run a little more.
This mire will hold me no longer.
Because of you, I'm getting much stronger.
I'll run until my dying breathe,
From all of this shit inside my head.
I'll run until I'm far away,
From the me I was until today.
I'll work until you see fit
For me to be apart of it.
I'm working until you see in me
The me that I'm trying to be.
I'll work until you see true
All the things I am saying to you.
I'll work until you understand,
That I am becoming a better man.
It's growing, you just can't see it.
It's growing, you just can't see it.
