God has me in his keeping,
But you're still inside my heart.
Memories I won't forget,
And that will never part.
Missing you is half the battle,
One that can't be won.
So think of me and my smile,
When you're feeling lost.
I will be there looking over you,
When you need a friend.
So grieve a while for me,
If grieve you must though I can't lend a hand.
And if you ever need me,
Call and I will hear.
Even though you cannot see me,
Be sure that I am near.
And if you listen with your heart
You will feel my love surround you.
Until the day we meet again,
Remember that I love you.

Loss of a Loved One
Teen FictionI wrote this poem and dedicated it to my Aunt Kim who passed away when I was in grade 6. Hopefully you can relate to it as well if you have lost someone you cared for and loved.
