Dawn was just rising when I awoke, still dreaming about the night before. I opend my eyes, and Michael-John was staring down at me. Surprised, I screamed, and scramble away. He laughed, his whole body shaking.  It took me a few seconds to remember where I was and who he was. "Rise and shine?" he managed, between fits of laughter. I shook my head, and glared.

"Watch it hot shot." I growled, and stood up, running my hand through my hair. It was so greasy, and I felt filthy. I bend over, and started digging around in my backpack.  I glaned through my legs, and stood up abruptly. "Michael-John!" I hissed angrily. "Stop staring at my butt!"

"Sorry." he mumbled, and looked away. I crouched down, and got out the pink t-shirt.

"Ugh. Pink." I slipped it on, and turned around.  "Now, I think we should go." I angrily slipped out from the house, and slid down the roof, and landed on my feet on the floor below. I started stalking off to the caffiteria. Right now, Arick was looking like the better choice.

When I got to the cafiteria, I was even madder he didn't come chasing after me. I shoved open the door, and ran into Aiden. I stumbled backwards, and he grasped my arm tightly to steady me.

"Hello the-" he started, but he was yanked back. A furious Arick was behind him, about to punch.

"What do you think you're doing? Pushing her like that?" Arick yelled, angrily.

"Woah man!" he said, trying to back away. "She bumped into me!" he said, shrinking down. Arick looked to me.

"Is this true?" he asked, his voice softening as he talked to me. I nodded quickly in agreement, and he lowered his hand, and shoved Aiden away from him.

"Just don't," he hissed. "Let it happen again." He stepped to my side, and grabbed my wrist, and led me through the crowd of people to the hallway to the clinic.  He stopped outside the entrance, and I shook my head.

"He didn't even touch me! I don't need to be checked!" I said, starting to turn to walk away.

"No." he said behind me. "You are going to get a check up, then take a shower, then you will be evaluated. By me." he smiled, and I turned around.

"Clean clothes?" I ask, raising my eyebrow.

"From 'Lost and Found' he answered, pushing open the door. "After you my lady."

"Thank you." I said blushing, as I walked through the door. Inside, there was a very scared looking nurse. She plastered on a fake smile as I walked in.

"Oh! Payton! One of the kids told me you were coming! Sit down! Sit down!" she said, with fake enthusiasm, and motioning to the bed. I glanced at Arick, and he nodded.

"Go on." he said, and giving me a tiny shove.  I sat down, and the nurse started looking me over.

"Hmm, a few scratches, that's all. Tell you what, pick out your clothes, go take a shower, come back out, then we'll bandage up those scratches." I nod, and turned to Arick, who was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. I looked at him expectantly, and he just raised his eye brows. I shook my head, and walked to the bathroom.

"You better be out by the time I finish!" I growled, and closed the door.  Inside, was a neat basket of clothes.  I looked through it for my style and size.  All I found in my size was a light blue tank top, and really short jeans. I sighed, and turned on the hot water. The clinic shower was hardly used, but it was clean.  I noticed there was soap, but no shampoo. I undressed, and stepped in. Instantly, the hot water felt good, and I started rubbing of the grime with the soap.  After I finished my body, I started running the water through my long, blonde hair, trying to wash out all the filth with just the water.

After I was finished I grabbed a small towel, and started to dry off. I carefuly avoided the small places where I was bruised or cut.  Once finishing my whole body, I slipped on my new clothes. They actually fit pretty well.  I fingered combed my wet hair in the mirror.  I examined myself closly.  The tank top was short and snug; rising to show some of my stomach.  The shorts fit perfectly; molding to my booty like they were made for. I sighed, and turned, opening the door. Arick had gone, but I could see his head peaking over the little window. I smiled at the nurse and nodded my thanks, walking out. Arick jumped up from his position and grinned.

"Nice ass." he commented slyly, as my face turned eight shades of red. He laughed, and slung his arm around me, drawing him close. "So what's up is first we have a Shooting Test in the morning, and in the afternood a meeting.  Apparently we're deciding the whole operation name and stuff." he said shaking his head, not even letting me talk. "Kinda stupid I think, it's not like this is going to last verry long. I mean-"

"What do you mean a name?" I cut him off before he kept on rambling. I wasn't that interested.

"Wait! The nurse shouted from behind us. "You didn't get bandaged up." she panted, as she came up to me. "Just lift your tank top." she instructed, already holding the bandages. I rolled my eyes and did so, Arick's perverted eyes eye raping me. She quickly aplied the bandages, and I put my shirt down. "You're free to go." she instructed, and stepped back.

"Thank you." I replied, and elbowed Arick, who was grinning a sharky grin. "Get over it." I laughed, elbowing him. The nurse blushed, and scampered away, probally back to hiding. "Now where to, Arick?" I asked, leaning into him as we walked.

"Evalutation. In the soccer field." he replied, putting his hand across my back. "I'm supposed to see how well you shoot."

"Ok." I said, walking in silance for a bit.

We got to the end of the hall, and pushed open the door. The door had barley closed before I was pushed lightly against the wall, a handsome boy pressed up against me.

"Arick..." I whispered, flittering my hands up to his chest.

"Shh, Payton." he said quickly. "Don't talk." he glanced down at my hand, then back up at my face. He leaned foward, and kissed me gently on the mouth. He pulled away, gazing into my eyes, not saying anything.

I gazed back, not saying anything. I leaned foward, and wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him again, he didn't react negativly, kissing me back with the same amount.

My heart stopped when the door crashed open.

"Pay-" shouted Michael-John, but stopped in anger. Arick and I quickly pulled away, Arick stepping slightly infront of me. "Payton!" he shouted angrily. "Did he kiss you against your will?" he shouted, lumbering up to Arick, his face red. Arick looked down, smirking. Michael-John went to about his shoulders.

"No, actualy." Arick said cooly, his voice full of menance. "She kissed me. Or, we kissed eachother. Depends on how you look at it." He smirked, putting his hand behind his back, and I took it for support. Michael-John glared at Arick.

"She wouldn't do that!" he screeched. "She's mine." Arick cracked a smile, yet there was no warmth, his dark hair falling into his eyes.

"That's where your wrong, Michael-John. You see, she's neither of 'ours' because she is not property. She has a mind; she can make her own desicions." Michael-John looked around him to me. I could see his anger leaing him, and sorrow and pain filling his face. And I thought his arm had hurt last night.

"Is this true?" he whispered. "That you kissed him." I couldn't meat his eyes, so I looked at the back of Arick's head.

"Yes." I whispered quietly.

He didn't say anything, just walked away, back through the door, and away from me, for who knows how long. Arick turned, and I burried my face in his rock hard chest, and he wrapped his strong arms around me. I couldn't cry. I wouldn't be weak. Nope.

"Let's go." I whispered. "Yeah, let's go train." I repeated, and pushed away. He looked at me, saying nothing. He turned, and walked to the soccer field.
