Cecilia is a soloist at the New York City ballet. Her dream is to become a principal and dance in Swan Lake. As Odette. After the short summer holiday, she goes to an audition at he company and gets the role. She is very excited and therefore goes to a cafe for once with her friend Melissa, when a guy suddenly aproaches her, and asks her out on a date.
As a powerful, charming, good looking and cocky alpha, Darius expects his mate to listen to his every command, I mean, who wouldn't. He expects her to love him the second she lays her eyes on him. What he didn't expect was Cecilia.
Cecilia doesn't want to listen to him at all. At first she doesn't even want to go out with him, and she certainly doesn't want to do all those "dirty" things he suggests they should do. She irritates and frustrates him to no end, sometimes he just wants to strangle her. Mate or not.
But the strongest relationships are the ones that aren't perfect.
