I'm greatful for the over 50,000 reads, 70 fans, and 300+ votes. I was so excited when the numbers slowly started getting red. Author's who have popular stories will know what I'm talking about :) It seriously makes you smile.
But, things haven't felt the same lately. It seems like the numbers don't mean anything anymore. With the amount of 'attention' this story supposedly has, there only seems to be, literally, a couple of people who give feedback. And honestly, without people letting me know what they think, giving constructive criticism, or just telling me their favorite part of an upload, I'll never know if anyone is reading, and what's the use in uploading if no one does either of those? I'm disheartened by the decline of support that was once a strong following, it would make anyone feel this way. I mean not to post this as a post for self-pity, or a cry for attention. I'm doing this to let whoever is still paying attention to this fan-fic, however small the number may be, that I am seriously considering putting it on hold for a long time, if not pulling it off the site completely.
When I do frequent updates, I get maybe one comment giving support/feedback. When I space them out months in between, then I get a decent response. Kinda confusing if you ask me :P
So..please help me make up my mind? Even if just one person is reading this, then make yourself be known! Remember, just one spark, can start a fire.
