During the second world war, bats were used by the Americans to bomb Japanese towns. The bats were given little waist coats with bombs attached, and were released at dawn so that when light came they would hide in houses and buildings then detonate.
The Russians trained dogs for war purposes as well, to run under tanks (the most vulnerable part) with bombs strapped to their backs so that they would later detonate. Food was placed under the tanks to lure the dogs under.
But these attempts failed when used in actual wars, the wind shifted and the bats blew up an American army base.
The dogs were trained with Russian tanks, so that's where they went. Long story short they blew up their own tanks.
