To her, Damien Jang was an "it", much like the weeds she pulled from the planter boxes. His drop-in's were infrequent and random, always asking for a bouquet of flowers that didn't quite look right together. Then he became to visit every Saturday.
At first, Jessica dreaded Friday's for Damien was sure to be there, always ordering the same ridiculous looking bouquet. After awhile, she began to enjoy his presence. So much she started to look forward to the next day. She'd prep the flowers ahead of time, sometimes even add a-little extra to the mix or cut down the price. "Tomorrow", she would tell herself, "tomorrow brings me a day closer to seeing him."
