I lifted the wool blanket over my head, listening to my bed room door close. The silence engulfed as my body shook lightly. Again, the pain racking each and every part of my violated body overpowered me as I tore the sheet off of myself, standing up. The moon shone though my window and I held the pane, trying to catch my breath. He had done it again. The room began to spin as I pushed myself away from the glass, looking around my small bedroom. It wasn't a bedroom to me. It was a room of torture, a room of evil. I wasn't mine. My hands shook, my eyes burning, about to spill the tears I held back for so long. I took a deep breath and sat on the cold wood floor gently rocking back and forth. I listened to the heavy rain hitting the trees outside, the leaves blowing in the wind. I pulled myself up off the floor and threw my door open, fleeing down the hall. The cold wind bit my cheeks, the rain instantly drenching me. There was one person I had to see one last time. The person who meant the most. The person i would miss the most. The person i loved. I broke into a run, my bare feet stinging against the pavement. I sprinted, street after street and finally stopped in front of a dark house. I made my way along side, my shoulder scraping the brick wall. I opened the last window on the left, as i had done countless times before and i climbed though. He was sound asleep, his arms spread behind his head, the blanket baring his pale chest. I could hear the drips of water falling to the floor as i walked over to him quietly. He was so beautiful, so peaceful, so calm. Everything i wasn't. I lifted my hand to his face using my thumb to rub his smooth cheek. His eyelids fluttered open, his Green eyes staring into mine.

"its a bit late to be sneaking in, Don't you think?" He groaned giving me a small smile. I let out a raspy laugh my lip quivering.

"I just wanted to tell you how much i love you." I whispered.

"I love you too babe, you know i do." He replied, taking my hand into his I leaned towards him pressing my lips against his softly. He grinned as i pulled away, then rubbed his eyes.

"Why are you soaked?" He began to sit up but i pushed him down.

"It's raining silly."

He laughed faintly, his eyes threatening to close. I ran my hand through his brown hair, grazing my lips against his one last time.

"I love you Keaton. More than you will ever understand." I breathed pulling away from him.

His soft snores filled the room and i knew it was time for me to go. I swung my legs though the window, landing on the ground. My eyes stung and i took off. Seconds, Minutes passed. The shinning bridge came into view, almost calling to me. The faster i ran, the less pain i would feel of leaving him behind. My feet pounded against the steel bridge, my breath catching in the throat. I gripped the rail, staring down at the rushing water. Suddenly it hit me like a train, the pain. I exploded. I screamed, again and again, letting the tears roll down my cheeks. My chest heaved, my throat blazing. I lifted my leg onto the pole, bringing the rest of my body up. I carefully turned around so my back was to the water. My hair flew around wildly, my wet strands sticking to my head. My legs felt as thought they were about to collapse and my arms held on the the slippery structure tightly. I was tired. I was so, so tired. I didn't want to hurt anymore. I closed my eyes listening to the deafening rapids below me, inviting me. I let go. An agonizing shriek forced my eyes open as i plunged towards the water. There he was his bright Green eyes, his sopping hair. He was choking, sobbing my name against the wind. He looked absolutely delirious as he reached over the rail for something he couldn't get back. I crashed into the water. Thumping. Shouting. I felt thumping against my chest. I heard shouting, someone shouting my name. I was blind. It didn't work. I'm alive. I recognized the voice calling my name. My eyes flew open and I coughed, water dripping down my chin. Sharp pebbles poked my back and i realized i was on the shore of the water.

"Please come back to me, Please come back to me!" Keaton cried convulsively, beginning compression's on my chest again.

"I'm alive, I'm here I love you!" I told him lifting my hand up to his chin. He kept going, whimpering my name repeatedly.

"How could you do this to me?"

"How could you leave me?"

"Why didn't you let me help you?" He shrieked at me. His Green eyes dull with terror. I pulled myself up,standing on my feet.

"Keaton"

I shook my head, my vision blurring in and out of focus. I was still on the ground. No, I was on my feet. I took a step closer and studied the girl unconscious on the stones. The girl was pale, almost blue. The girl had brown hair that was knotted around her head. The girl wore a thin T-shirt and sweats, no shoes. The girl was me. The girl was dead. I fell to my knees and Keaton wailed against my chest, knowing he couldn't save her. He couldn't save me. He held me in his arms, begging me to come back to him, telling me how much he loved me. I was helpless as i watched him suffer for my choice.I would do anything to take away the torturous pain in his eyes, to fix his tormented heart. If only I told him what my father had been doing to me for years. If only i had stayed with him instead of climbing back out his window for the last time. If only i had climbed down from that rail. If Only.
