The next day I walk into school feeling more confident than I have been lately. Don't ask why 'cause I don't even know. I go to my locker and open it, a few notes fall on the floor. I bend over to pick them up and read what they say. One says how I need to lose weight, I start laughing. I'm 100 pounds even, perfect for my age. I look at the next one and laugh even harder, looking around nervously. This one says I am ugly and need to do something with my acne. Dropping to my knees, I look at myself in the mirror and take note of how my face is clear from any pimples, or anything for that matter. My eyeliners thick but, it always is. I shove things in my locker and pull out some books when, some kid walks by and pushes me over. "Oh I' sorry did that hurt? I hear your very sensitive." The kid starts laughing. "I hear you still wet the bed. Leave her alone and go away Drake." I turn around and see Aiden standing by me holding his hand out to me. I grab it and he helps me up. "Aiden? Why are you defending her? Shes nothing but trash. Look at her." "Because shes a friend of mine." Drake looks at me, then back at him shaking his head and walking away. "Thanks you didn't have to do that.." He smiles nodding "I know. I just wanted to. No big deal." He smiles. "So we still on for tonight?" He asks. "Uh, yeah, defiantly. 5 right?" he nods and starts walking to class with me. "Well madam, here is your class." He says bowing. I start laughing and bow back, people were giving us weird looks. I like this kid. Hes not afraid of what people think. "Thanks." I say as he hugs me and walks away I turn to my door taking a deep breath before heading in.

After school, I sat in my car and headed for my group therapy, happy to see Aiden.I have been coming here for about three weeks and clicked with a few of the people. Mainly Aiden. We were attached at the hip. Walking in and sitting in my chair next to him, he smiled at me and the group started. "Ok today, I want you to partner up with someone." Graig says Aiden glances at me nudging my hand a smile slowly starts spreading across my face. Nodding Graig finishes his sentence. "We are going to tell them something you have never told anyone today. Everyone here is capable of being trusted I hope and whats said in here stays in here." We nod and turn to our partner. "Well I guess I could say..." Aiden starts looking around and lowers his voice. "I really hope I can trust you.." He looks worried.

"Oh! You can Don't worry! Even if we get into a fight. Which I hope we don't! But I would never do anything like that!" He nods and continues "Well to be honest I wasn't really upset when my mom died.." I look confused. "She wasn't the best mom ever... She was mean." So when she died I mean I wasn't happy just relieved I didn't have to deal with her anymore." He says watching me cautiously. "I understand." I say nodding honestly at him. "I'm sure this will be the last time you'll talk to me huh?" He looks down and looks upset a little "Are you on drugs? Why would I stop talking to you?" He looks up and smiles. "Cause I mean its odd not caring for someone.." "Aiden don't worry it takes a lot to get rid of me. You made it clear you wanna be friends. I'm down for that. I don't care if you hate your mom or not. I hate my brother and his friend. I don't feel bad one bit." I say my voice dropping lower and lower with each word coming from my mouth. "Why?" He says in a lower voice than before. "Well I was home alone Dad was at the store and he always has friends over. Mason not having a friend over is like not breathing air for us." I say Aiden laughs and waits.

"Well.. About a month ago I was in the living room just watching videos him and his friend came over to talk to Dad I told them he wasn't there and they could come back later. Alex was at camp still. Any ways they would not leave so I just gave up and went back to watching TV.." I stop taking in a shaky breath not wanting to say any more but knowing I have to. He waits patiently. "They came and sat on a side of me Mason on left his friend on right.. Mason held me down and let his friend do.. things to me." I say wiping at my face trying not to cry. Aiden sat there expressionless, before he frowned and looked confused. "Snow.." "It's ok I don't want sympathy. I just want a friend.." I say at almost a whisper his face softens into a slight smile and he pulls me to him hugging me. "Your secrets safe with me." He says as he hugs me I smile at him and hug him back. "And I'll always be there for you I'm starting to like you more and more as the days go by." I smile more at his words and sit back up. "Thanks Aiden. I appreciate it. I really do. I'll be here for you any time to." I say he smiles and Graig walks over. "How is it going? I see you found a friend here." He says to me. I nod "Yeah I guess I have." "Well that's good. Both of you could use some one." He says and walks off. "He kinda scares me." I whisper to Aiden when hes not close anymore Aiden laughs "He scares a lot of people."
