As i wipe the sleep away from my drowsy eyes i cant help but notice the refreshing sight of the waves clashing together as the sun reflects of the clear blue sea, i sit back and enjoy the view and warmth of the sun trying to push its way through my window whilst i try to block out the noise of my screaming sister asking where her 'Mr flippers' is. If i wasn't sane id actually believe that penguin teddy was real the way my little sister clings on to it for dear life every day, after a good half an hour of enjoying my bliss view from my room i took back a huge breath and rubbed my face at least 3 times before i was sure i could face my chaotic family. I took a few steps out of my bedroom door and i was already attacked by Melissa and Mr flippers " ah. i see you found him then?"  i said to her with zero life in my voice.

"yep i sure did he made his way into the break feast cupboard!" she said with her softly toned voice yet you could hear the complete shock and belief she as she continued to tell me as we walked through the hall and into the kitchen just how he got there and what break feast he wanted. I couldn't help but just smile and think back when life was as easy as wondering where your favourite toy or teddy had wandered off to or wanting sweets all the time, well i cant say much has changed with wanting sweets all the time, I'm only human right? After what seemed a never ending walk to the kitchen because of Melissa's ridiculously long but cute story i finally slid into my eat at the break feast table where mum and dad were cooking and looking hopelessly in love dad was cooking a full break feast, also pouring some fresh orange whilst mum made some berries in yogurt, i brushed my hair off my shoulders and brought it all to one side as the cold breeze hit my back it sent a shiver down my spine " morning my beautiful girls, how are you two doing on such a fine day?"  said dad as he managed to keep his cool look about him cooking everything at once.

" Tired and hungry" i replied with a grin on my face

"Well you will enjoy the food better the more you wait wont you, miss i need to do everything in a hurry"

"well me and Mr flipper want our berries and yogurt, we need something quick so we can get out and go on our adventure" Melissa replied swinging her teddy around.

"what are you going to be up to today then Megan? doing anything with your girls or are you seeing josh?"

" i think i'll be doing both see josh today and have a night in with the girls, if we cant stay in at Jaymie's can i have a couple of friends over, please mum pretty pretty please? with a delicious red cherry on top" with me starting to go light headed because of how much i was fluttering my eyelashes at both mum and dad i heard my mum reply with " OK OK stop with the innocent face, yes they can stay but don't be making a lot of noise like last time what did yous do take laughing gas it sounded like we took in a group of heyena's."

Typical, without fail every day mum manages to make a joke that's so awful its funny. "Ha Ha you're hilarious congratulations on your comedian award, oh wait that's right you don't have one".

i could see dad and Melissa trying their hardest not to laugh, until they couldn't hold it in and burst out laughing.

"I don't know what you're laughing at your jokes aren't much better" mum said to dad, his face was a picture it was one of them moments you wish you had a camera to capture the cliche happy family moment his face was full of shock  with half of a cheeky grin. I know it's a typical 'perfect family' comment to say but its times like this I'm grateful for the life i have and the people in it, i mean I'm not saying i don't have problems cos everybody has their difficulties they have to go through and its the bad stuff in life that lets you appreciate the good things.

"Mum, Dad im going out be back tonight. Bye."

" Make sure you've got your keys and phone were taking Melissa the water park"

"I have, ok have a nice day see ya later".

The amount of shouting i do in that house im surprised i still have a voice, you would think i lived with deaf people. Moving away from the UK still seems strange for me its like living on a completley different planet, i wouldn't change it for anything. Its simple things like walking along the beach as the cold clear sea washed up against my feet that makes me enjoy and appreciate the small town i live in now and i met josh here too, i cant believe its been a year and a half with him in a month. Its gone so fast but Ive not regreted one moment with him i think the reason we get on so well is because he was the first person i met here, he shown me everything and made me feel welcome.

I still remember the first time we met it was an awkward situation no one wants to be in, me and my family had just arrived in the town so we went to the local cafe to get something to eat and drink, we were in pants and jackets because we had came from the UK obviously none of us thought ahead to think it would be scorching hot in Florida because we're so use to rain and cold. So we finished our break feast and heading out the door the local police officer noticed we were new to the area and insisted his son took us to our new house because we had no car and no sense of where we was going, it was a good drive up until we arrived and we had to get our bags out of the back of the Jeep and of course it had to be mine that got stuck, whilst my family were too distracted by the beautiful new house we were about to move in none of them had noticed i couldn't get the stupid bag out and so the gentlemen that josh is he insisted to help. Again another moment that needed to be captured. The bag was eventually starting to get loose, i had sweaty palms from the weather and from pulling on the straps on my bag. I couldn't believe it my hand had slipped off and smacked josh right around the face he just laughed it off which made me feel more comfortable that he wasn't like the uptight lads back home, i took him inside to see if we had anything to put on his face to cool it down where the red mark had stained golden tanned face, forgetting we had only just moved here because of all the chaos i realised we had nothing cool enough to put on him so we took a long walk down the beach which leads into town where the supermarkets are and we talked and laughed over and over we got on in an instant and that's how it all began.
