The Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood

    Once apon a time, long ago a fairy tale was twisted. The wolf who was supposed to eat and die, fell in love with the girl in the red hood. He helped her and she smiled at him, but she was taken away leaving the wolf alone. With his heart broken, he went home and acted as if nothing happened, but he knew that he could never recover from this injury. At least Romeo and Juliet got the chance to die together. This wolf is to be left on the dark side of the fantasy, like how its supposed to be. His heart feeling empty and lost. That wolf is me. My Juliet is now gone, she has been for five years.

    Now I walk this earth with no purpose. I'd give my life just to see her one last time. Very selfish of me, now isn't it? Yet that's what love has done to me. That is what her love has done to me. It has made me go crazy. Sadly, we can never be. I am no prince charming  or a lovley pesant like in a story. I am the wolf, the bad guy, the one who isn't supposed to fall in love. I did fall in love though, but its all out of my hands.

    "Wes! Get your head out of the clouds and actually find something to bring back to the pack! We're 18 now, the pack expects big things from us." Claude pushed me a little. He and Jayy still have no clue of what happened five years ago. I wish I could tell them, but they wouldn't understand. They would tell the pack leader and I would get scolded and they would go looking for Little Red. I would rather die than let that happen.

    I nodded to Claude and began walking again to find food. As I walked, I stopped at the place I first saw Red. I can still remeber her soft brown hair and dark eyes. Along with her elegant nature and the way she smiled. If only she stood in the spot again, like how she did before. If that could happen again, I wouldn't care if I couldn't meet her personally again. All I need is to see her. Ah, these memories kill me. Why can't I hold her in my arms again? I had a life time of words to tell her, but now it can never happen. She is gone and I have to accept that. Her family is probably keeping her safe now.

    She probably has a husband. Maybe even a young child. I'm sure her child has her beauty. I would like to see that.

    "Dude, either hunt or die out here." Jayy kicked my back. I turned to look at him and her had a peice of meat in his mouth. I can't tell what animal it is, but it looks like something Jayy would eat. "I won't let my bro die, got it?"

    I smiled a little at him and looked down for a second then back up. I stood and placed my hand on his shoulder, "Go back to the pack, I'll catch something and meet up." When I looked at his face, I could tell he was worried. I gave him a smile to tell him to go and he nodded and walked away.

    As he did, I looked down the the spot she used to walk. I wonder if she has forgotten about me. I walked down to the spot and lightly touched the ground. She walked here. I looked forward, towards her grandma's house. One time I tried to return there, but it was abandoned. Not a soul or item left inside. Only the cruel memory of what had happened.

    Without thinking, I started to walk over there. I passed by the stump my Red got caught in. Kneeling down, I touched it and a slight smile fell on my face. This is where Red smiled at me. As I kept on walking, I got closer to her house. I can finally see it.

    I smiled at it for a moment, then realized something. There are voices inside the house! Did  someone new move in? No! I can't allow this! The door started to open so I ran behind a tree.

    Four people walked out, three girls and one boy. Two of the girls looked older and stood next to each other while the boy and other girl looked young and they held hands. They must be a couple. As I got a closer look, I could hear them speak. The two older ladies spoke first.

"Isn't this nice?"

"Indeed, its truly a pleasure to be back."

    They both laughed and then the boy spoke.
