All was golden in the sky when the night met the day. The clouds touched the stars and made the oceans dance. Rays of sunlight and slivers of moonlight threaded together and tinted the earth. The wind blended the colors, dragging a deep red across the horizon with its invisible wings. Purple dipped into the grass and drops of dew reflected the twinkling lights back into the heavens. Birds brought the darkness across the sky, pulling the last hints of day out of the night and hiding them under the ground. The oceans ran still and the whole earth sighed and rumbled as it fell into the dark light left behind.
