Jasmines P.OV

My heart quickened as I stared at Greyson, this was unreal.
Who did I want, who made my heart speed faster, who made me smile when I was down.
The answer was both of them. I really liked Greyson yet at the same time Declan made me swoon and giggle at the most minuscule thing.
My head was leading me one way yet my heart was leading me another.
As every beat of my heart grew stronger I edged closer and closer to my decision.
I stared up into his deep grey eyes, took a deep breathe in and let the single word roll off my tounge.

My heart skipped a beat as I turned over my phone to a new message from my boyfriend, yes me boyfriend. I couldn't get used to saying that word, it's like I thought that the new me would never get a boyfriend. But I'm not the new me, I'm back to the old me and I loved it. As I swiped up the message I read 'Hey babe, i have a surprise for you, meet me by youre locker in 10 minutes xx'

My heart began pounding as i turned back to face Chase, my lab partner with reddening cheeks." Who was that" Chase asked with a mishevious glint in his eyes. "You know who it is" i replied glaring mischievously at him whilst tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear. I have to say, ever since I'd started sitting at the 'popular' table Chase had really grown on me. once you got past his cocky demeanour and hideous jokes he was actually an ok guy.


I took a deep breathe before I grabbed my bag and walked up to the substitute science teacher Mr Bandel. "Mr Bandel, im sorry i feel really ill, i might go to the nurses office if you dont mind" i asked trying to put on a fake cough type thing."Sure thing Jasmine " Mr Bandel replied as he grabbed out his pen and granted me a hall pass.Wow that week of free acting classes really must have helped with that Stella performance. Well done Jasmine well done.

As i was turning the last corner before my locker i felt a hand reach out and grab mine. I let out a frightened gasp as i turned around to see Him laughing whilst dragging me back in the other direction. I was still recovering from the fright I had got from him just grabbing me like that. I mean seriously who does that." Where are we going?" i replied curiously not allowing him to notice the fact that I was panting for breathe already."You will see Jass" he replied. Even though i couldnt see his face i could almost feel the smirk that would be plastered on his face.

As I hopped into his car i couldnt help but laugh at the music that was playing.It was old, like the sort of music my dad listens to old.As he pulled out of the school i was still laughing, but kind of worried at the same time."Wh-What if we get caught" i asked quietly.At this He turned to look at me " What if we dont" he teased back as i caught him winking at me.

A new song came onto the Cd he was playing and i was biting my lip in hope i wasnt going to laugh."OOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH-OH-OH SWEET CHILD OF MIIIIINEE" as i looked around i realised that it was I fact the driver of the car who was the owner of such a terrible singing voice.

i started laughing, uncontrolably laughing. He was an absouloutely terrible singer."What" he asked looking over at me as i tried to contain the last few laughs that were escaping my lips.
"Ohh nothing" i replied. "Is it my singing ay?" he teased. A giant smile was playing on his lips and almost making me melt inside.

"Well you cant laugh if you dont sing Babe, I mean this is our first date" he replied as he pulled over into a playground parking lot."Ohhh you dont think i can beat that" i asked as i felt my cheeks go red."No" he replied as he moved his face closer to mine."Fine, you dont believe me pick a song and a part and i will show you just how amazing i am at singing" i challenged.

I crossed my fingers hoping He wouldnt call me bluff, but he did."This will be fun" he replied whilst searching some song on youtube. My mouth dropped as Whitney Hustons 'I will always love you' came on. He started laughing as i went from a slight red blush to a full on tomatoe sauce blush."and, he continued i pickkkk the chorus"I shot him the evil eyes as i prepared my self to do the single most embarassing thing of my life. " ANNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDD IEIEIEIEIEIEIEIEII WILLLLLLLLLLLLL ALWAYS LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" i sung mentally cringing at how off i had gone at the you.

Instead of laughing He joined in whilst smiling at me." I laughed as we belted out another 5 songs before stopping to catch our breath. I got a bit of a fright as i heard the door slam shut leaving me isolated I the car. there right infront of me playing o. The swings was one of the cutest, sweetest most amazing guys I had ever meet. if anything today had just proved I really did like him. but that was the problem, he was one of the most, only one of the most. I had an odd feeling I knew who else was up there, maybe just maybe I made the complete wrong decision.


I rolled my eyes as i neared him, trust Him to say something like that.As i sat on the swing next to him i heard my stomach rumble"Did you just fart" His masculine voice asked whilst he looked at me and begun to laugh. "Oh haha how mature, it was my stomach actually nim wit i replied" sarcasm dripping off my voice.

" I know Babe" he replied with a wink. " I guess its time to head back, we got to get back to school befor the launch bell goes annyway" he continued

"food" i stated for the 70th time whilst poking his cheek yet again. Id been doing so the whole ride home, ever since he told me he wasnt stopping for drive through. " ALLRRIGGHHT Jasmine, well get your bloddy drive through, just leave my cheek alone" with this he raised his hand to his cheek subconciously.i smiled graciously as i teased " ohh that woukd be great, you dont mind do you" in reply all i got from My boyfriend, yes my BOYFRIEND was a grunt.



Greyson's P.O.V

Why was it that the whole week my heart had been in knots, my stomach swirling in circles.
The truth is I had been declined by girls only 3 times in my life and one of those were in primary.
But why had Jasmine.
I had seen the way she looks at me, I promise you I know that look well.


When she said no it had felt like a punch in the face. Yet I couldn't be angry at her, i mean I only asked her out because of a stupid bet, right.
But why was this bet screwing with my head... and my heart.

I mean this isn't fucking me!
Why the fuck did I say I still wanted to be friends. I know why though, because I did, I really really did.

But seeing her so happy with Declan made me want to punch his pretty little head. That should have been me.

I know that would have been me if I hadn't been such a wimp. I would have already have won the bet, and quite possible kept the girl.

Why did I have to play it off like I was messing with her once she said no. because I wasnt.

And let's be honest I needed her to win the bet. we needed to kiss in the cafeteria by the end of the year.

I hope this wasn't really weird, like as in not knowing who it was throughout the whole date until the end. if enough people hated it I can edit it.
