Josh on the side ;)

-

Lunch came by real quick and to my utter disappointment there were no signs of that intoxicating smell from first period.

Did I believe my wolf when she said mate? No. Yes. Maybe. I wouldn't know I had to see it for myself. I met up with my friends in front of the lunch room since we decided early on that we'd all go in together.

"I say there's no harm in joining the team." Michael told us as we made our way to the line.

"Its like were betraying Auburn." Savannah pointed out taking an apple from a stack.

"Have you ever heard of the 'keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer?'" Josh added stacking his tray with burgers and fries.

I did the same taking a burger and some curly fries. "It's not like we need to spy on Westhill." I commented shrugging my shoulders.

Castiel laughed at that. "Easy for you to say you dominate the soccer team." Westhill might suck at any other sport but they were definitely impressively unbeatable with their football team.

Savannah shrugged her shoulders. "What's so hard with slamming into somebody?" She never did get the quarter backs and their thing.

"It's more than just slamming." Castiel frowned. "Besides you're one to talk what's so hard about dancing and throwing around your pompoms?"

Savannah growled at her brother slamming her tray down an empty table. "We do not throw around our pompoms." She flipped her hair making her perfectly blonde hair bounce. "Cheerleading is very competitive thank you very much."

Michael and Josh stifled laughs at her. "Competitive?" Josh mocked.

"If you say so." Michael said patting Savannah's shoulder teasingly.

Savannah clenched her jaw before slamming her six inch heel down Josh's foot making him yelp.

In normal circumstances I would have joined their banter but I was just too distracted and out of it as I looked around trying to find the scent but to no avail.

Castiel nudged me. "Is everything okay?"

I looked back meeting his blue eyes and smiled. "Good I'm not that hungry I guess." I said pushing my tray away from me. Michael didn't have to ask me as he grabbed my tray's contents and shoving it down his throat.

Castiel was about to reply when a Shadow Fang member from across our table slammed his palm down the table his burning angry eyes looking right at us or what I think was us. Did I insult this guy today? I don't think so. Michael and Josh though-

Riley a senior from our pack who sat behind us started laughing cockily at the angry boy. Oh, dear. RIley Shaw the self proclaimed bad boy starting another fight. Bliss I tell you.

"Know your place Blood howler!" The angry boy shouted pointing a finger at Riley.

Riley smirked back at the boy taunting him further. I'm amazed at how even though my pack was off territory they still found themselves being smug and confident.

Riley's group snickered at the boy and the other Shadow Fang members that started to get up from their seats. Here it comes.

The boy suddenly flipped his table and lung towards Riley who was smirking and meeting the boy head on.

Blood howler and Shadow Fang collided all around except for our table. I rolled my eyes as a boy landed roughly on our table. Michael and Josh waited expectantly for someone to punch them so they could get in on the fight. Bodies were flying everywhere and when the boys had enough of waiting Michael growled in annoyance popping his knuckles. "Fuck this I'm going in." He said grabbing Josh and Castiel as they jabbed at the nearest Shadow fang.
