It's 2254. Yes as in the future. Everything is different. No flying cars, or jet packs, or anything like that for that matter. Nothing like that evolved. Just the social rules.

Girls, are property. Literally. You were schooled your whole life to suit men, and they choose you. They have papers that make you officially and legally theirs. You can be left or loaned to people like property. Can you live like this? Can I?

I was a lucky one. I was chosen by someone I loved, and he loved me. We have been together for two years. I am carring his child, and I'm proud of it.

And then it was ripped all away.

I did it.

I finally did it.

He's dead.Playfully, I hummed 'The wicked witch is dead' through out my head.

Everythings finally going right for me. Nyx is mine.

The thought was blissful. After 2 years of endless pining, she's mine.

"I might be yours on paper, but I will NEVER want you!"

Her painful words echoed through my head, creating a hollow aching sensation. I smiled nonetheless. She will grow to love me, whether she wants to or not.

Because one way or the other i will have my way.
