Tears from a Dream
There are times that
at night I couldn't remember a dream
yet tonight, I hope I could have one
though a bit unsure as it seems.
It was a bit hazy kind of dream
I just found myself standing
Just looking up at the gray skies
As if wondering if it would be raining.
A drop of water hit my face
It started to rain and left me soaking wet
It felt so cold under the pouring rain
A little shudder I suddenly felt.
Out from a distance I spotted you
Standing not too far away
Holding an umbrella on your hand
I looked at you and got nothing to say.
I hesitated to walk towards you
After noticing that you're not alone
It surprises me to see another girl
It crushed my heart and weakened my bones.
Saw you offering her the umbrella
As I'm left standing wet under the rain
Looking at you with somebody else
Brought me to tears crushing me with pain.
I suddenly thought to myself
This is a nightmare that I can't take
So I opened my eyes with a sigh
It felt so true though I'm finally awake.
