Dear Diary...

Chapter 1

Dear Diary,                 8/25/20

Hello there! I should probably introduce myself now. My name is Elizabeth and I just started a new high school. This is going to be my senior project. Well umm I don't know what to say anymore so I'll just talk about myself for this first page. Since I left my public school system, I'm a newbie at Ding Ring Academy. DRA is a school that only caters to musical prodigies. To even be considered for this prestigious academy you must stick out among your peers. I have been playing the harmonica since I was 4, the piano and guitar since  I was 6, the violin since  I was 8, and the saxophone since I was 10. I guess you can say I'm an overachiever when it comes to music. I've been telling my parents since  I was 7 that I needed to go to this school. I've always dreamed of being a multitalented musician that would play in the New York Philharmonic. This school is a huge stepping stone in order to achieve my goal. I've been to the best band camps in the country and now I'm finally going to be able to be noticed for my achievements. I've never been a very social person. I'm usually very quiet and I don't have that much time for friends. Between band rehearsals, tryouts, and an Allstate Orchestra that takes the best of the best around the nation. I had one really good friend but she got jealous saying that I cared more about music than anything and now she even hates me. I've never even dated anyone before either... I know it's really sad but I don't have time to go to dances or even have a stable relationship. All of my time and energy goes into music. I barely have time to eat and sleep because music takes up so much time. I'm up really late practicing and up all day at school or doing my homework or practicing. That's about it... I'm not to to interesting. So I'll write soon. Bye <3
