Kylie's POV
I am in my bed, still closing my eyes and pretending to be asleep. Yup, you read it right! I am pretending to be sleeping.

My bestfriend, Ranz Kyle keeps on shaking me to get out of bed. I know it's Saturday and he keeps telling me that we have school today. He is in his school uniform, I tell you, it's Saturday!

Saturday is the day to relax, wake up really late, sleep late.

"Kylie, wake up! We have school." he said. See? It's Saturday!

"It's Saturday today, Kyle. It's my relax day!" I said then covered my face with my teddy bear.

"No, it's not. How many times will I tell you that it is Friday today?!" he exclaimed. I reached for my phone. I turned it on and showed to him the date and the time.

"Look at your phone, Kylie." he told me. I looked at my phone and my eyes widened. It's Friday?!

"See?" he smiled at me. I immediately got off my bed and I ran into the bathroom.

I got dressed already, wearing my school uniform, and I went out of my house. Yes, you heard it, my house. My parents gave this to me since I am 18 now.

I saw Ranz in his car doing something with his phone. He noticed me because I was knocking at this car window.

I sat at the passenger seat which is at the back. "Why are you sitting there?" he asked me.

"It's because I want to." I replied, "I am not your driver, just sit here beside me." he demanded.

I shruged and went to the front seat, beside him. Ang arte naman kasi eh!

"You happy now?" I glared, "Yup." he smiled at me. Kill me now!

The car started accelerating really fast, I closed my eyes of fear of bumping in to someone's car.

Then the car stopped.

"Why are you closing your eyes? It's like you're afraid of my driving skills." he laughed, "You drive too fast, Ongsee. I don't want to die! I love my life!" I exclaimed.

"Come on, scaredy cat. We're at school already." he said and pat my head whoch made my hair really messy.

He ran out of the car, it's because I hate my hair really messy and I hate people touching my hair it just freaks me out! I work on my hair for 15 minutes!

"ONGSEE!" I ran towards him and made his hair messier than mine! Revenge!

"Argh! Kylie, you know how I hate people touching my hair!" he fixed his hair. I got my mirror and faced it towards him.

He fixed my hair, well, that's the first time.

"There, I made it up to you." he smiled at my and put his arm at my shoulder.

"You still haven't made it up to me." I answered and smirked, "What will I do?" he shruged.

"Let me guess, you want Ice Cream and Fries?" I nodded, "Alright." he smiled at me and I hugged him, he hugged me back.

Our classes start at 8:00 in the morning. We always arrive at school really early because Kyle always wants to be early.

He is always late so I told him to fetch me really early and go to school so he doesn't have to worry about being late. He agreed so every morning he would always wake me up really early which I think is really okay.

"What's your order, sir?" asked the food truck ice cream vendor.

"2 vanilla sundae cones put sprinkles in it, and large fries." Kyle ordered. I am so hungry right now my mouth is watering because food is life. Food will never leave you. Am I right?

After a few minutes the vendor gave us the ice cream. We sat on the school bench and started talking.

"Hey, Kylie?" he called me.

"Yeah?" then I got my fries and dipped it in my ice cream.

"Can I have some fries?" he asked, because, the fries arent between us it's on the other side so he cannot reach it.

"Hmm... nah." I said then sticked my tongue out.

"Geez, I payed for that, Kylie Michelle Terredesma." he pouted.

"Fine..." I groaned and got 3 long fries which made him smile. But, I ate half of it which made him pout again, "Here," I chuckled.

"It's better than nothing." he reached for the fries and I immediatly shoved the fries into my mouth, "I know right?" I smiled.

"Psh, bahala ka na nga dyan." he said and turned around, "Joke lang, harap ka sa akin." I said. Then I pulled out some fries. He turned around then I put some fries into his mouth and he smiled at me.

I dipped my fries into my ice cream again. Ranz suddenly touched my cheek, "You have something on your cheek." he smiled at me.

"Oh..." I answered and smiled. Trying hard not to blush, I glanced at my wrist watch. It's 7:45, which means we have to go back to school because we walked really far from school.

"Hey, Kyle? We have to go back to the school campus." I told him, he smiled at me and that smile made me smile back.

"Come on." he stood up and reached out his hand. I gladly took it and we walked through streets that we walk to every single day.

He intertwined our fingers. He has just done this now. We normally would hold hands but not intertwining.

I looked at him, mesmerising every single detail of his face. Chinese eyes, pointed nose, kissable lips. He noticed me looking at him, I can't help looking away.
He held my chin and got closer and closer to my face. Is he going to kiss me?

I closed my eyes, for a few seconds pinching myself if this is a dream or not. I opened my eyes once again and I saw his eyes upclose.

He did it. He is kissing me. His lips onto mine just feels so comfortable. I wanted more of it. He started moving his lips against mine.

I kissed back.

I am so shocked. Why do I feel sparks and butterflies?

I pulled away, he gave me an unexpected peck on the lips.

I held my lips and ran away, wherever I'll go I'll treasure that moment forever.

Am I inlove with my bestfriend or not?

Probably not, I was feeling sparks because we we're kissing. Not to mention, my first kiss was taken.

And my first kiss goes to Ranz Kyle Viniel Evidente Ongsee, inshort, my bestfriend.
