Icy Teapot

He poured his tea, then left it out in the rain-

"natural" he said, but really he just

didn't care anymore. What's the point in tea-time

when the guests only drink alcohol? He found

that teddy bears don't drink at all. Be it this way, then,

the birds might as well take a bath-

tea cups are a good size for them- let them take a break.

The world spins too fast for something in the air

to land easily on. And too busy for aim- smoke rising and

trees falling. Squirrels starve and deer shot through

the thinning protection Nature provided. Things disappear and

a cup of tea is no longer socially accepted.
