What do children dream of?

I ask myself everyday:

Sunbeams,rainbows,a bird's nest

Noone can ever say.

They suddenly laugh as if they see

An angel or a clown,

Or change a face into a cry,

And flash a scary frown.

They simply giggle as if they're fed up

With jam and peanut butter

We'll never know what they are tasting

Or what they're going to utter.

If they are bouncing on a bubble,

If they are walking on a lake,

Eating raisins from muffin top,

Then licking the cream of a cupcake.

Watch out,now they are chasing,

What seems an orange cat,

Shifting back quickly,there they grabbed,

A rabbit in a magical hat.

The clouds are stuffed pink cotton candy,

Bursting into fluffy pillows,

Flowers smell like lollipops,

And snow is yummy marshmallows.

Good heavens they are constantly busy,

They have some jobs to do,

Whatever the dream we'll never know,

Hope their dreams come true.
