This story is not something that I am putting my full writing abilities into but more a story to write while I pass writers block of any other story.

Also, there is some mature content.  I am not gonna say you have to be 18 by turning a day older makes you so much more mature than you were one day ago at 17. Doesn't work that way. If you are mature enough for it, then read it.

OK here's the deal, yes I know this is bloody cliche! I want it that way and I planned to write it in a cliche way because (as you can see in the little blerb) this story takes place over a period of MANY YEARS and when people go up, they mature. So, this story is about the two protagonists maturing and their life. It is not as cliche by the end as most stories are. Just at the start. I will only say this once so if you miss it....tough shit.

You spend your whole life from the time you reach this world searching for someone to love you. When you are a small baby, your mother takes that role gladly and sacrifices her beauty sleep for your late night cravings'. When you are seven, your dad then for files your love with stories of faraway places, princes battling dragons to save that fair maiden or of pirates scorching the seven seas for lost treasure. When you are in grade school, the love of recess steps up to bat and occupies your thoughts during tedious. Eventually you stumble upon "The One".

They say that you only meet your true love once and you have to hold on to them for they can easily slip through your ungrateful fingers never to be seen again. But they also say that if they truly love you then they are never really lost.   But before we come close to find them, we float through life clueless to the other, with destiny taped to their chest, running towards you at full speed.

When the vital moment arrives, looking in their alluring eyes, you curl your lips to whisper those audacious words. Let all fear seep out of your mind and you only focus on their sweet beautiful face. The way their eyes glimmer by sun or moon light and how their lips quiver in response to your powerful words.

But if you lose that one special person, chaos, desperation and heartbreak take over your brain and life. The tears stream down your face, unable to compose yourself. You spend the rest of your life, wondering without a purpose and regretting letting them go. It haunts you in your sleep, when you talk with people and when you have quite moments alone to reflect upon your smashed life.

Hold on to the one special person who makes the fire ignite in your soul like a candle pressed to a blazing hot match. Grasp the being of that person who knows you better than you know yourself and can predict your actions. Treasure the person who makes you laugh, makes you smile, makes your heart pound, your knees go numb and the one that makes you go crazy.  For what is lost in life cannot be found again.
