Breathing my last breath
Of her insanely intoxicating scent
As she walks by
Staring at me with intent
Written all over her face
And a smile I cannot place
Gently holding my hand
Leading me to a man
I do not wish to meet
Without a smile on my face
I do not greet
For my mind is elsewhere
Being taken over by thoughts
Of kissing her sweet and tender lips
As my hands hold her hips
Bringing her closer to my body
Skin on skin brings me back
To her wide eyes that are so black
And her caressing my hand so gently
And smiling ever so sweetly
Pushing me closer and closer
To this man who could not falter
With his eyes so green
And teeth that would gleam
In the shine of the fading light
Knowing it is night
I bid my do's, and say goodnight
For there is no more reason I should stay
And I walk away into the night
Thinking if what I did was right
I exhale my last breath
Of her insanely intoxicating scent
