Natural

To the 'normals'

the traditionals

the 'stuck-in-the-good-ol'-days'

did you know that in the real good old days

Native Americans rode bareback, in halter and few strings

no saddles, no big bits, no fancy tie-downs

Real cowboys cared for their horses, never hurt them

because they knew they relied on them to earn a living

Arabs slept with their horses in their tents

trusting their children to lay by their feet

What has happened to you?

What have you become?

Has your love for these magnificent creatures,

the horse,

been overshadowed by your predatorial pursuit

for domination,

for control,

To those in the leather boots

the ones in the Stetsons and spurs

the ones in jodhpurs and crops

Why do you fight

 determined to stain

Natural Horsemanship

why are you so determined

to stay in your ways when

Natural Horsemanship

shows only positive results

Have you never dreamed of flying,

of riding without reins,

to gallop through open fields

and jump fearlessly

Have you never dreamed of friendship

and partnership with your horse?

No beatings, no blood, no pain, no fear.

Natural Horsemanship

All love, all language, all leadership

The relationship, the partnership

Why fight it?

Natural horsemanship is the way forward
