I hate school
Pretending is something I guess I'll try,
You want to know why,
First you'll read this while thinking I'm a fool:
The class room is like a cell,
And the school is the jail,
We are the prisoners,
And lets not forget the guards are the teachers
We respect them and listen to them,
Because if we offend them,
They will punish us,
Cuz they think were not tough
They give us homework
Because it makes them feel superior,
And they know we feel inferior,
And they know we hate the work
But seriously I have dreams and a life,
But sometimes I feel like if they take a knife,
And crush my dreams,
But it's okay they know I won't scream
But they don't care
Cuz we have a test soon and I care
Of the grade,
Cuz once it's done I can't trade
So now I need to study,
I'll miss my weekend,
But who cares I need to be ready,
Cuz in the end it all depends
On my grades,
If I want to take the right road
I hate school
Pretending is something I guess I'll try,
You want to know why,
You read this while thinking I'm a fool
