A day that's been promised,
Has yet to arrive.
It's the day that we all wish for
Each day of our lives

We all search for so long
That we think it's only a myth
Until someone comes along
And gives us a reason not to quit.

Then suddenly you find the one, come
to the truth, and stop living in denial
Finally, you see wearing white wasn't
A myth while walking down the aisle

I searched for so long, but I never
thought that day would come true.
Until I found the one that proved
Me wrong. That one was you.

I've been through so much,
And felt a lot of pain.
Before you came along, I honestly
thought I would never love again

I'm glad you changed my mind,
For I would have missed out.
All because I listened to my head
And let my heart be filled with doubt.

Now that I've gave in,
I'm doing this for the better or worst.
