Part 1

In a small town down in Georgia there was a regular town where people do their everyday lives.

Day after day we do the same thing over and over again it's so ridiculous.

This is where I come in to the story.

Hey people who are reading this my name is Nina Smith also known as Sakura to my friends.

I'm 14years old turning 15 in a few weeks.I have black hair and bright blue eyes.

I'm just a normal girl like everybody else but everything changed a few hours later.

I was going home from school taking the usual way to the bus stop.

At the bus stop I waited a few moments until the bus pulled to the curb and the bus doors opened.

I got in and pay the fee and took a seat in the back.

I sat by the window and gazed at on the moving surroundings.

'Day after day I do the same old routine.

It so ridiculous it's boring.'I thought with a sigh.

'Oh god I sound like Light Yagami.

All I need is a notebook to come out from the sky and I can be his twin but as a girl version.'

A smile came on my face as I thought that.

'Then a sexy detective like L will come to catch me and we might fall in love and shit like that in fanfictions written by crazy Death Note fans like me.'

I thought again.

The bus came to my stop and I got off to walk toward my house.

As I walked I saw something strange and stopped.

A tall tree with pink flowers was there.

It was no ordinary tree it was a Japanese Sakura tree.

"What in Kira's name is a Sakura tree doing in America? "I asked myself staring with awe at the tree.

I walked to the tree and right in the middle of the tree was a sign.

On closer inspection it read'Make a wish in front of the tree and it will come true'.

"That's weird how did that tree end up here?

I wonder if that sign is true.

Oh what the hell lets try it."I said out loud.

I put my hands together in prayer and closed my eyes then said,

"Please anyone here my plea.

I want more entertainment in my life.Please anybody listening I wish to go to the death note universe.

I want to save people lives then be here being normal.

Thank you."

I opened my eyes to see a great gush of wind blew away all the flowers off the tree.

"Does this mean my wish comes true?"I asked to no one in particular.

"Ah forget it I'm going home."then I turned to leave.

Then something unexpected came falling out of the sky.

Thunk.

"No fucking way." I gasped with shock.

On the ground was a black book with the words 'Death Note'.

I walked to the book slowly then picked it up.

Then I examined it to see if it was real.

Yup,I flipped through the book it had the rules and it was just like Light's Death Note.

"Should I test this out to see if this is real? Should I rule the world?Meh too much work.Where is my is my Shinigami ?" I said with wonder twirling my hair with my finger in a Near-like way.
