We walked hand in hand
passing strangers not caring what
was on their minds
My heart was still racing
since the day you were mine
The day we met
was a day I won't forget,
you looked into my eyes
saying that you'd be by my side
you said that I was different
at first made me frown
but then said I was better
almost perfect without a doubt
You took me to the fields
where you twirled me around
not once letting me fall to the ground
You held me close
as the sun started to go down
You picked me up
carrying me home
but before you left
you said that there were words
that you never said
I looked up to your eyes
wondering what was hidden
behind your intense stare
you took a step closer
as we could hear our heart beating
hard against our chests
You leaned in
gently pressing you lips
against mine
we finally pulled back
as we just stared into each others eyes
that night was the night
we shared the perfect kiss
and the hearts of two lovers
could finally be fixed
