Chapter 14: Moving

JACKY'S POV

I woke up and I was in the bed alone. I shot up and looked around, no one in the room.

"TORI!" I called, about to get out of the bed before I saw a note on her pillow.

I'm sorry Jacky, I couldn't stay around any longer. I grabbed some of mine and Ariel's stuff and went to someone's house, I'm not sure who yet. I'll be back later to get the rest of mine and Ariel's stuff. I'm sorry it had to happen this way, I love you Jacky <3

Love, Victoria.

I let the note float down to the floor and let my tears fall freely.

TORI'S POV

I was driving around at eight in the morning, looking through my contacts to find a place to stay at. I reluctantly called Austin, hoping he would pick up.

"Hello?"

"Hey Austin, did I wake you?"

"Nahh, Alan woke me up about an hour ago, what's up?"

"Are you at home?"

"Yeah."

"Well, can Ariel and I stay there for a little while? Jacky and I kind of broke up." I said, beginning to cry a bit.

"Shh, don't cry, of course you can stay with me."

"Thank you Austin." I said, wiping my cheeks. "I have to go pick up Ariel from Ronnie's but then I'll head over there."

"Alright, see ya."

"See ya." I said, hanging up and throwing the phone into the passenger side and pulled over banging my head on the steering wheel. I decided to get all my crying done so I wouldn't worry Ariel. How did my whole life fall apart in one night? I wiped my face, applied some eyeliner to hide the redness and puffiness before continuing on my way to Ronnie's. I knocked on the door and he answered with a smile.

"Oh yeah, you're here for Ariel, I'll go get her." He began to leave but turned around. "You okay?" I nodded. "No you're not."

"It's nothing, I broke up with Jacky and now I have to go live with Austin."

"He kicked you out!"

"No, he proposed, I broke up with him and I moved out."

"Oh okay, well, that sucks." I nodded.

"I'm still going to visit you guys with Ariel." I said and he smiled.

"Good, keep in contact, I don't want to lose you. Now, I'll go grab your daughter." He said before dashing up the stairs. He returned with a sleeping Ariel and her backpack. I grabbed her from him and slung her backpack over my shoulder.

"Was she good for you?" He nodded.

"Perfect, as always." He said with a smile. "She didn't have Ryan to get her wild."

"True, anyway, I gotta go, bye."

"Bye." He waved with a smile as I walked away. I strapped Ariel into her carseat and got in myself, driving to Austin's house. I pulled into his driveway and turned off the car. I got out and popped open my trunk, pulling out my suitcase and grabbing Ariel out of the car. I walked up to his door and knocked on it, Austin opening it shortly after.

"Hey." He smiled.

"Hey." I said as he let me in his house. He led me up the stairs and showed me a blank room with a bed, a dresser and a nightstand.
