David's POV
I looked at Nancy she looked lost and confused
I wanted to go to her hold her and tell her it will all be ok but I didn't
Instead I went to my mom who was crying
"it's all my fault" my mom kept crying
I went to see the doctor
"how is she doing? Miss Brown"
"Miss Brown needs to stay in the hospital she will be monitored ,......"
After that I went to the hospital reception I know Nancy will get angry but I will pay for Miss Brown's stay
I paid at the reception took time because of the insurance and stuff
I went to Miss Brown's room
The room was empty
Miss Brown was supposed to be in mid-forties but she looked older she looks exhausted
"Hello" I said
"David?" she said
"yes how are you feeling"
"tired"
We talked abit more
Then she surprised me by asking
"are you married?"
"no"
She smiled
The Nancy came in
"Nancy this is David Gabriel"
"mom I know who he is he is my boss"
Miss brown looks surprised
"Your boss?"
"yes I work for him"
This getting awkward so I decided to leave

Nancy POV
After mom slept
Tyler and TJ came by
I slept in the hospital but I left to go to work
At work things were quiet
I went inside David's office to give him some papers
And I notice a picture of an old man grim- looking shaking hands with David
"is that your father?" I asked
He looked surprise cause well it is the first thing I talked today
"yes"
"Are you close?"
"No never he was a hard bastard"
"oh"
He looked angry
"he used to beat my mother" he said in a low voice
He looked lost sad and angry I couldn't help it but I reached my hand out to put over his
He looked surprise but smiled
"I never knew my father basically knocked up my mother and left"
We talked about more about fathers until he said
"I'm just scared of having children"
"why?"
"I don' want to be a bad father like mine"
