A Dangerous Passion

A Montauk Mile

          The day started off bright and humid. Kids splashed around in the pool, sticky bodies stripped down to as little as possible, and the distinct smell of grills lingered in the air. It was mid-july, and for Jennifer Kylan and her family, Montauk was the place to be.

"C'mon lets go!" Jennifer yelled as she walked out the door of her grand Victorian style house. Jennifer was gorgeous, her sixteen year old body was lusty from her years of softball, and although shorter then most girls standing at only 5'4", Jen's beauty more then made up for it. Her long brown hair (usually left down) was accompanied by her bright aqua eyes, features of which more often had her mistaken for a model instead of a high school junior. Despite her knowledge of her beauty, Jen was not conceded like most girls. Many guys fawned over her, but she rarely gave them her attention. That was the way she was raised, and until that summer Jen stayed the ideal child that fit her parents mold.

"Mom? Dad? What the hell is taking so long?! I've been waiting in the car for twenty minutes!" Jennifer said bitterly as her parents finally walked out of the grand wooden doors.

"I'm sorry dear, your brothers couldn't decide what video games to bring along." Her Mother said.

"Of course they couldn't." Jen said with an eye roll. As if on cue, the brawny teems themselves come hastening out of then door pushing and shoving each other with a laugh.

"Dylan! Carter! Lets go! I've been waiting for you idiots for twenty minutes!" She yelled.

"Ooooo someone is on their period." Carter retorted. "Shut up Carter." Jen said as she slapped him on the back of the head.

"Haha Carter got told." Laughed Dylan.  Jen glared at the two of them and climbed into the back of the Lincoln Navigator, then once her family finally focused enough to get themselves together, they got on their way.

            Dylan and Carter aggravated her. They were twins and two years her senior. They -like Jen- were gorgeous boys. They had cropped brown hair and identical aqua eyes. Jen had never gotten along with Carter, but was much closer to Dylan. They were popular, as Jen was, but unlike their sister, they were very conceded, and took advantage of it too. Carter was the player of the two. He had more girlfriends then she could count on her hands and feet, and never stayed with them more then a month or two a piece, but even with his reputation girls were still swooned by his every move. Dylan was different than Carter. Although proud of his good looks he was caring and honest. Girls were mesmerized by Dylan just as easily as they were Carter, but Dylan didn't fuck them. He casually dated a little bit, but nothing really serious. The only girl he ever truly loved ripped his heart out and left him for the captain of the lacrosse team. He was a little crushed after that but nothing a little casual sex didn't fix in time. To Jen's surprise though, Dylan actually seemed excited about their family rendezvous in Montauk, little did Jen know that Dylan had plans to look forward to.

           The vibration from Jen's phone woke her from her light slumber. The sky outside was blending from orange to pink, proving that time had passed during her sleep. She heard the snickering of her brothers as she slowly awoke from her haze.

"How long have I been sleeping?" She asked with a yawn.

"Haha long enough." Retorted with a feverish laugh.

"What's so funny? What did the prom queen get AIDS?" Jen demanded. Carter still laughing responded:

"As funny as that would be, No. It's much better then that." Jen gave him a puzzled look and Dylan handed her his phone to help her understand. From the inside camera she understood why Carter was so amused. Her hair looked like something out of a horror movie, with enough knots that she probably would've ripped small pieces of scalp off if she didn't own detangler. Her makeup had also smeared across her face, and her eyes had black pools underneath them from her mascara.
