Amy-

I met him on a boat. It was a small boat, but it was still a boat. Well, it was actually more like a big boat under normal circumstances considering it was going right up to Niagara Falls, but to me it was small because I was lucky enough to have been on the biggest boat in the world, even if it was just for a ride across the Atlantic. I had won a competition to go on this huge boat to go to Florida with my family. Quite simply, an amazing boat. Oh wait. I'm rambling. Back to the point before I got so distracted that I rambled on about boats. And here we go! As I had been saying, I met him on a boat  which was going towards Niagara Falls. I was leaning over the railings, looking at the waves and the spray's of water that came up as if to hit me on the face to cool it down. I suddenly looked up when a loud roaring sound got even louder and gasped in amazement. The falls were almost completely shaped like a horse-shoe and the water was thundering over faster than I could blink  and there were rainbows being formed. I quickly whipped out my DSLR from underneath the blue plastic coat they gave us took a few pictures of the falls, before turning around to look at the smaller, American Niagara Falls. People appeared to be going in and out of caves there and while it was small, it was remarkably pretty. Just then, I stumbled and my camera fell out of my hand and went tumbling over the edge of the boat. Suddenly, a hand shot out and grabbed my camera, bringing towards me with it cupped in the persons hands. I noticed that the persons hands were trembling and when I turned around, the owner of those hands jumped back in surprise before scratching their head sheepishly. He was a cute guy, with short spiky blonde hair and a beautiful smile. He was quite tall and seemed to be quite shy; his hands were trembling so much, I thought he was about to drop my camera onto the wet deck of the boat.

"Thank you for saving my camera!" I said cheerfully, as he stared at me, shocked that I had spoken to him. He held out his hands, trembling still and I took my camera off him carefully, smiling happily up at him.

"It's... It's okay. I- I meant to come and say hi to you before but I felt a bit nervous and then your camera flew through the air, giving me a reason to come and speak to you while rescuing your camera... From the looks of it, I'm guessing it's your baby?" he stuttered, a smile slowly coming to his face as I cradled my camera like it was the most precious thing in the world. Quickly, I grabbed him and hugged him, acting on impulse as if to thank him more. As I breathed in, I could smell his wonderfully simplistic aftershave and I held him tighter. At first he was surprised and then hugged me back, warming me up quickly and then let me go, stepping back a blush starting to show on his face.

"Aha, sorry about that I just acted on impulse. My name's Amy, what's yours?" I asked practically jumping up and down in excitement at making a new friend. He laughed, a sweet soft laugh that made me shiver, at me jumping up and down.

"My name's Dylan it's nice to meet you" he said showing me that beautiful smile once more.

Once we got off the boat, we went our seperate ways, yet somehow ending up at the same hotel. We bumped into each other on our way in with our parents. We hung around with each other at the pool side, gradually growing so close we even exchanged mobile numbers and added each others as friends on Facebook. Within those last few days that I was there, we were so close I could call him my best friend. On my last day, I dragged Dylan up to the pool and sat on the sun loungers with him.

"Promise me one thing, DyDy." I said in all seriousness. Dylan looked around at me and smiled, drawing me in with his beautiful smile. I shook my head and pulled his cheeks, making him look like a chipmunk.

"Ow ow ow! Okay okay I'll promise to whatever you say if you stop pulling my cheeks!" he cried out. I smirked and let go, and he massaged his cheeks which now looked red.

"Make sure to keep in contact with me when you come back to England, I don't want to not be able to meet my best friend when I want to see him!" I said happily, watching him nod ecstatically. Suddenly, he pulled me over his shoulder and walked over to the pool. My eyes widened in fear as I realised what he was about to do.

"My way of saying bye" He said chuckling before he chucked me in the pool, jumping in straight afterwards. When he had and I had managed to get the water out of my eyes, I splashed him, giggles escaping my mouth as I got out of the pool.

"BYE DYDY!" I called over my shoulder before I ran, sopping wet through the hallway and to my hotel room.
