It was April 1st, April Fools day and it was on a Friday. After school my friend Hayley and cousin Jordan came over to stay the night. We were all bored sitting at the table just talking about how our day was. Than one of us came up with the idea to tell a couple friends that we were pragnant. First call went alittle like this :
"hello"
"hey Kassy its Hayley "
"ohh hey whats up?"
"im pregnant"
"whatever its April fools day im not stupid"
We all laughed. She was the one not to belive that kind of stuff unless we were that kind of people.
Next we decided to call Jack another cousin of mine, he was deeply in love with Hayley and she just found it... Gross!!
He believed us at first when she sounded really scared and freaked out, until we said something. He knew we were joking. We werent sluting around like some girls do. It was a mean joke somewhat but it made all of us laugh. Next person I decided I was going to text my best guy friend Danny. I knew he would believe me, I was his bestfriend he believes everything I say. I asked him for help because the dad wanted nothing to do with me or the baby and he was the only guy I could trust.
Danny didnt know what to do. He was freaking out because if his parent found out they would of thought he was the dad. Hes my best guy friend. Eww. After telling the joke for about ten - fifteen minutes I finally told him April Fools day.
The day went by slow it was 4a.m. we were still up. No mom, no kind of adult at all. Hell yeah were going to be up at this time. My mom was gone for the weekend, she went to a wedding in Grand Rappids. So my friend and cousin get to stay here for the whole weekend!
Time flys when your having fun! Sunday morning rolls around it was about 6 I get up because it felt like I was going to puke. This was the 4th day in a row. No one knew about it, I wouldnt tell anyone. Then I hear footsteps. I was scared it could of been my mom! what was I going to do!? Someone walks in with some crazy hair and looked like hell, Hayley. Thank god it was just her!
" are you okay Alexandria!??" she had a worried face. Should I tell her? I have to she was my bestfriend.
" no not really. this is the forth day in a row i got up a puked this early" that made her face look even more worried! I broke down into tears.
" oh my gosh! did you tell anyone?"
" no because i just thought it was a little sickness because im fine during the day"
"do you think your pregnant!?" she laughed "no im kidding. i know your not that kind of person"
I looked at the trash can I had between my legs. "i might be" more tears flowed down my face. I could feel her staring. She seemed speachless. About two minutes later she finally spoke.
" your not kidding! when did this happen?!?! with who?!?! are you serious!?" she was going crazy right about now.
" im not kidding. i couldve of sworn he used protection! i swear!"
" who is it?"
"issac..."
" wheres the biggest nife in the kitchen?" we both laughed. I finally dryed up my tears and took a shower so I didnt smell like puke. I got out before Jordan woke up. Me and Hayley went outside to talk about it more, she said if the puking doesnt stop in a week then she will have her mom buy pregnency test for me. Her mom is a pretty cool person she wont tell my mom or anything but she would encourage me to tell her.Which I wont till I know for sure.
I pulled out my phone and texted Issac " hey can we meet somewhere? I have to talk to you"
"is everything okay? and today will be good. the park around 2?"
" yeah everything is okay. okay. will do."
It came around two my friend and cousin left. No show of mom yet. I found Issac at the park, we walked and talked by the lake. Then we sat down together on a swing that looked out to the lake. I put my head on his chest and his arm went around me.
" issac i needed to ask you something.. did you possibly use protection when.. you know."
"i dont remember why?"
"i think i might be--" before i said it i heard his jaw drop. He stood up and looked at me in pain it almost looked like.
" i have to go"
" wait" before I could hold him back he was gone he got in his car and drove fastly down the street. What am I going to do? Let him go like that? I sat there and cried wishing he was with me. There was only one other guy,Danny. "come to the park? i could really use someone to talk to right now"
