*Beep Beep* *Beep Beep*

I slammed my hand on the alarm clock, this was my fifth one as they all seem to die painful deaths, anyway I opened my eyes and let the cold blue light engulf me, wow it was cold today. I got up stretching all the muscles in my body, they were all stiff. I went and had a quick shower then got some underwear on and a pair of light blue skinny jeans and a baggy shirt, then applied my eye liner and my mascara, two things I can’t live without.

I pulled on some navy blue converse and grabbed my bag. When I came downstairs my idiot older brother was sitting on the table “Wow you look extremely ugly today sis” he punched my arm playfully, I pushed him 

“your so nice Alex, so nice” I said scornfully

 “I know I am Annabel" he laughed, typical Alex.

I had some toast and jam, and then went outside. The cold wind hit me like a hundred pieces of glass, I zipped up my Grey hoddie and dropped my head down, I don't mind the winter as I was a winter baby but when it’s windy everything gets messed up and blown away, not a good look for me. The bus honked its horn, I was going to miss it NO, I ran as fast as I could but it was too late

"Comeback" I screamed at the top of my lungs but the big yellow bus drove into the misty distance till it was no more. I started walking; mumbling curses to myself with every step "want a ride Annabel?" I turn to face to one prepared to save me from this harsh wind

"Oh My God Ariel I officially love you" She was sitting in her Mini Cooper, wow I loved this car and I loved this girl. I climbed in, the warm car was like heaven, and it fell silent as I just took in the pleasant feeling "So you missed the bus again?" Ariel snickered

"Yes I missed the bus" I said dryly, I stared out the window, it was meant to snow today, I loved tosnow, it means no college. Ariel parked the car and took off her seat belt

"we have Mr. Summer's today Bell, I beg he doesn't do another lesson on genes, because if he does you can just kill me now" Ariel laughed "As long as I get to keep your car" I said amusingly 

"Of course you can Bell, course you can" she said sarcastically and got out the car. Me and Ariel were walking down the long entrance corridor, it was washed yellow and had leakage stains, it wasn't the prettiest of schools however the people here made up for that. We walked until we reached the end of the corridor before it cut off to five different smaller corridors, Ariel said her good bye and went down one of the corridors, I went down another, going to my locker. as I was walking I realized how dirty this place was, the paint was pealing if you looked closer and u could hear the wind thrashing outside "Hey Annabel, are you daydreaming again?" The boy sighed, I snapped out

"Hey Logan, no I was not, I was actually admiring the school for your information" I said smiling, Logan was on of my best boy mates, we didn't have any chemistry what so ever but I loved him as a friend, "Sure you were, we have Spanish now, don't we?" I moaned when I heard this, I hated Spanish, we had the worst teacher in the school, I am really liking Ariel's idea now. I took the long walk to Spanish, when I got in the classroom was as usual, empty, no posters like the other classrooms, just four white walls and a window,

It was a very depressing room "Nice of you to join us Miss Winters and Mr. Anderson” I hated this teacher, I sat down at the back and Logan came and sat next to me, I watched out the window, at the wind blowing the trees and everything was on the move while Sir carried on speaking, the thorn bush underneath the window rattled at the window pane, the noise sending shivers down my spine as some lose branches scratched across the window “Mrs. Winters are you planning on listening in this lesson or would u like to go daydream somewhere else” my head flipped back round to face the teacher, everything was silent “Sorry Sir” is all I could say to him. At the end of lesson I was about to walk though the door when

“Mrs. Winters” the teachers voice questioned, why is it always me.

“Yes Sir” I said turning to face him, a fake smile plastered on my face; our teacher, was in his late 50’s, had white grey hair, dopey brown eyes and a saggy face, he picked on me every lesson, but who could listen to someone with a face like that for an hour. “Your attention has been some what lost in my lessons these past few weeks, is there a problem?” he asked almost sympathetic

“No sir” I said blankly, just wanting to leave

“Well I want your full attention in my classes, its not that much to ask now is it” He said biting into a emerald green apple “No it isn’t Sir, I will pay more attention” I turned around and left The teacher and the room forever, well at least till next week.

I ran to the lunch hall, wanting to get a chicken salad sandwich before they all go however when I got there the queue was pouring out of the massive wooden doors of the canteen so I decided to starve this break, I started walking to science when I felt a tap on my back, I turned around “Log… Oh” it was someone I hadn’t seen before “Hey my names Blake, I am new” he smiled, as soon as he smiled his face brightened up, his ocean blue eyes and his fair hair, he looked as if he had been abroad as he had fairly tanned skin, so by looking at the weather outside, I would say not from here “Hey my names Annabel” I smiled a welcoming smile

“that’s a nice name, one of my favorites actually” he smiled what looked like a cheeky smile

“Well I best be off, it was nice meeting you Annabel, I hope to see you around” he winked and walked off, first day here and he was already flirting, I stood still for a while as I watched him turn the corner before dragging myself to science, yay genes!.
