“Marcy! Come on jump already!” Dalton yells as I stand on the big rock while hanging onto the rope tied to the tree.

“I’m scared!” I say looking at the icy black water staring up at me.

“Oh don’t be a chicken!” Trenton yells.

But I am a chicken, I want to tell them. A big fat chicken. What ever ill jump, just to try and prove I’m not what I am. Who cares if I drown, at least I jumped. I walk back a little further on the huge rock so I can get a running start. Swoosh! I smack the water landing right on my stomach. As soon as I resurface I can hear the boys laughing.

“That was totally sick!” Trenton roars. I climb up onto the deck and look at my red stomach.

“yea totally sick” I say rolling my eyes.

Good thing I can handle pain. Ha ha. Its not like I just didn’t get my cast off my arm last week. Don’t even ask how I broke it.
