Nancy POV
I looked up from the stack of papers and saw a woman in her forties wearing a skirt and blouse and her hair was in a tight bun
She looked familiar
She came straight to my desk
"hello" I said standing
"hello" she said "I'm david's mom you can call me Kathy" she said
Suddenly she pulled me into a hug
"you look so beautiful" she mumbled "in those old clothes you look exactly like-"
"mother inside please" said David
She went inside
Well that was awkward but she said I look like someone? I wonder who is that someone
Suddenly the tallest and skinniest girl I've ever seen just walked in
She had a black dress on that was so short and her boobs almost spilling out her long her strawberry blond hair was impossibly straight
She was heading toward David's office
"Excuse me miss you can't come inside Mr. Gabriel is busy" I tried to say nicely
"Look lezbotard I'm going to see MY BOYFRIEND got that? And you can' stop me" she said

"what's all this commotion?" David said
"hey baby" the bitch went to David put her hand behind his neck and kissed him soundly which to me was disgusting!
"Olivia" he said as if coming up for air "aren't you suppose to be in Paris for a photoshoot?"
"it was delayed till next week oh hi Kathy didn't see you there" the bitch said
"Olivia" Kathy actually glared at her
'Nancy let's go" Kathy said pushing me to the elevator
"where r we goin?" I asked
"shopping"
"but I don't have any money"
"look honey I know but do you have any other suits which I know the one you're wearing is not even yours"

We went shopping and I can't believe how expensive the suit is I stayed in a pencil sharp skirt and and a white blouse we went in a shoe store
I found a pair of high glossy black heels
"oh yes we have to get those David will love them" Kathy said
"David? Why should he care what kind of heels I should wear its not as if I wanna impress him"
"well um he um should care cause he is your boss" Kathy said
I had a feeling she is trying to match make her son and me
Weird? Why me I mean I'm not some rich heiress
We left the store with bags and we put them in Kathy's Escalate
"we should put the bags in your house give me the address"
"how about later" I said
I feel embarrass to show her the apartment but it was definetly better than the apartment we used to live
"honey I need the car sorry but I don't want to carry a closet in it"
"ok" I gave her the address
I got out of the car to find Kathy following me
"um can you like wait here so I can put my stuff up"
"but you need help right?" she said as if desperate to go inside
"ok but we have to be quite mom may be asleep"
We went up I opened the door I saw mom on the coach asleep
I went inside to put the bags but Kathy seemed to be frozen
"Kathy" I turned to see mom up
She looked sad angry and excited
Kathy ran to mom
"Lillian I missed you" Kathy was crying
"Kathy I told you to leave me and my daughter alone"
Mom fell unconscious on the sofa
I ran to mom while kathy called the ambulance
2 hours later in the hospital
Kathy explained everything that she and mom were friends me and david when we were children how they never used their last names in front of me
"when I came back and your house was empty I hired a detective I knew you moved to the bad part of town I tried to help you're mom came to talk to me told me to leave you two alone she didn't need me" Kathy started crying again I was numb the doctor came
"she hasn't been taking her medication ,................."
I stared at the doctor in the end he said "she has to stay a week"
I exhaled the bill would kill but at least mom will get better
I saw David running and instantly I remembered the boy who was my best friend with ana angelic face now he stood in front of me all grown handsome still has the ocean blue eyes but with a smile so sinful
I heard Kathy murmuring "it s all my fault"
I felt hopeless
