Ignorance in your age,
Prejudice in your wrinkles
Sturdy beliefs that refuse to change
Good intentions in a cold heart
A walking paradox.
The preacher lies,
and the boy from the hood changes the world.
Beliefs and opinions will defy mind sets.
Your age is not a factor
I see no added intelligence in your years,
only arrogance.
You carry a false wisdom,
And pontificate it to the world
Your lectures make a fire burn in me,
My fist is curled
Our voices raise,
but I know you'll never see
How the world looks when you open your eyes
What a place it can be.
