The meet up

I reach home 15 minutes later. I check my phone and I have a new message, from Levi!

Levi: hey there's a lot of stuff going on right now, can we meet up and talk?

Me: sure! Where would you like to go

Levi: meet me at the park in 15? :)

Me: sounds good see you in a bit!

Oh my gosh, I'm going to hang out with levi! What am I going to wear definitely no heels, I would trip and embarrass myself plus being 5' 8" there's not need for them anyways. I head to my closet and pull out a plain white t shirt and skinny jeans I pair that with a pink scarf some sandals and gold earrings. Now I look dressy without looking like I'm trying to hard. I text my mom telling her I'm with a friend at the park and to call of she needs me. I grab my keys and drive to the park. It's a semi warm fall day in Montana and the trees leaves are tons of beautiful colors. The sun shining through the trees is breathtaking. I are him leaning against a tree looking down at his phone. I walk over to him. "Hey, how are you?" I ask. "I'm ok,remember how I went to the principals office, well I went home afterwards. My dad the counseled and principal were there and they talked to me and told me my mom has cancer. To make it worse its brain cancer and she may never get better." His voice chokes up and I see him holding back tears, I'm glad he isn't afraid to cry! He just found out terrible news. "Oh no Levi I'm so sorry, is there anything I can do....?" I say. "Do you want to come over? I'm sute my mom would love that, she really likes you and told me the other day she missed seeing you around." He says looking a little more cheerful. "Sure, I've missed Heidi! Do you want me to come over today?" I asked. "Ya I'm gunna head he do you wanna follow me there?" He asked "sure, lets head over there now" I replied. We started walking back to where the cars were parked. We walked in silence but that was fine with me it gave me time to think. I loved Heidi she was so nice, sweet, and acted like another mom. I didn't want her to go through cancer and being so sick and I really didn't want her to die! We got to the cars and I hopped in mine and waved to levi. I drove down the familiar streets to his house. I used to come here all the time, but then high school came and me and Levi friends branched out and we weren't so close anymore. I missed him so much and I wish we were still as close as web we were little. Going over to each others house all the time and always hanging out. I pulled up o levi's house and got out of my car. Levi's car was in the driveway so I figured he beat me and went inside already. I stood outside preparing myself to see Heidi and Levi's dad Craig. I walked up to his door and knocked. The door opened and I saw heidi.
