"Not tonight pet. You need to heal completely from the past couple of days. I haven't been very gentle with you and I know you haven't completely healed from some of the injuries I've caused you." I grab her by her wrists forcing her arms behind her back. "What if I just tie you up and tease you until you are exhausted?" Whimpering and wiggling Emerald tries to get free. "That would work Alpha but won't it make you even more exhausted too?" Pulling her back against my chest, I wrap my free hand around her neck gripping it tightly but letting her breathe. "Are you worried about me or just yourself my pet?" Stiffening, holding completely still, but whimpering, "I never worry about myself Alpha! I'll always worry about you. I'll worry about the pack too but you are my first concern." She leans her head back on my shoulder trying to loosen my grip on her neck, breathing heavily, eyes closed with a tear at the corners. I move my hand keeping it tight against her neck, gripping it tighter than before, choking her. She whimpers and wiggles fighting for air. "Trying to get out of my grip bitch? I'll let you go." Letting go of her neck, keeping her wrists behind her in the one hand, I grab her ankles with the other hand and throw her on the floor. Her eyes wide open; she starts to scoot away from me. "No, no, no pet! I didn't say you could move!" She stops and climbing off the bed I grab her ankles again one at a time tying them to the bedposts. With a look of fear on her face she just sits there, whining. I grab her arms twisting them behind her back, wrapping them with rope tightly, and then I lift her bending her over the foot of the bed on her stomach and standing on her tip toes. I hold her down against the bed so she doesn't move. "I want you to lay as still as you can. No jerking or standing up. Do you understand?" She looks at me nodding her head. "Yes Alpha, I understand." I slap her across her ass making her tighten up her muscles, groaning, and whining. She moves her hands to cover her ass. Dragging my fingertips along her face, down her neck, across her shoulders, and down her back causes her to tremble. "Alpha please! It's very hard to lay still when you are doing things to me that will cause me to move." Laughing at her, "That's the point my little bitch! I want to see how much control you have. Move your hands so I can hit your ass without hitting them." She moves her hands like I told her. Picking up a cane, "That's my good girl." I tap the bottom of her feet lightly at first. Closing her eyes and biting her bottom lip as the taps get harder Emerald whines. "What's wrong Luna? Don't you like your feet hit?" Emerald shakes her head. "It's ok Alpha. I don't mind it. It just stings. Do you want me to stop whining?" "No, whine all you want. I love it when you whine." With one last hard smack across both feet Emerald squeals a high pitched squeal. "Ok! Never do that again! Do you hear me?" She shakes her head yes and bites her lower lip again. Hitting her ass until it turns red Emerald whines and whimpers with every hit. I finally untie her and throw her on the bed. She lays there shaking. "Are you ready to sleep now?" Looking away from me she nods her head yes. I lay down on the bed pulling her up beside me. "Good shut up and go to sleep. I'm tired and want some sleep." Sleeping through the night I wake up to smell steak and eggs for breakfast. Looking down I see Emerald staring up at me. Nuzzling and placing kisses on my neck I feel her smile. "Morning Alpha. Did you sleep well?" Running my fingers through her hair I grab a fist full and kiss her. "I slept very well. How did you sleep?" She tries to turn her head away but can only look away. "I tried to sleep but couldn't. I got very little to no sleep at all last night." "Why?" "I'm just a little nervous about talking to my parents later." I kiss her forehead and make her look at me. "There is nothing to be nervous or worry about. They just want us to accept our royal heritage. You will be fine. Now let's eat." We eat breakfast and head to the study to meet up with her parents. I knock on the door. "Come in." As we enter I see Robert with a bottle. Handing me the bottle I see it is a very fine bottle of Absinthe. "May I perform a ritual of mine? I would like to show you how I do it." Robert nods his head and opens a case. In the case is an Absinthe spoon, cubed sugar, and glasses. Placing the spoon over the first glass I put on a sugar cube, pour some of the Absinthe in the glass and drop a few drops on the sugar cube. Lighting the sugar cube on fire to caramelize it. I drop the sugar into the Absinthe and stir it. I do this for all four of us and pass a glass to Robert, Rosa, and Emerald and drink mine. After everyone finishes Robert takes the glasses and sets them aside. "I normally do it the French way with ice water dripped over the sugar to produce the Louche. Only royals drink it your way Caden, a true sign of your heritage. I just have one question to ask you both. Do you accept your true place as royals?" I glance at Emerald and she looks nervous. "Say yes my pet. I can help you with any concerns you have later." We both say yes. "Good I'll let your parents know Caden that you two have accepted your heritage and each other as mates. Then when the time comes you can take your rightful places on the thrones." "Thank you sir. I appreciate you contacting my parents. I have a difficult relationship with my family." "I'm sure this will easy the difficulty in your relationship. What are your plans now?" Looking at Emerald I just want to spend some alone time with her. "We will go back home. We have some new members to test." Robert looks from me to Emerald and back. "I was hoping Rosa and I could spend more time with our daughter but a packs business is more important. Please come back soon." "We will and it was nice to meet both of you." Robert and Rosa walk us to the door. Walking into the woods Emerald and I change into wolf form and run home. We reach the pack house just as the lunch bell is rung. Quickly changing we go into the dining room. "Everyone listen up! I have plans for all of you for tomorrow. Get plenty to eat and rest today." I sit Emerald beside me and sit at the head of the table. "May I ask what you have planned for tomorrow?" I look over at Bobby and smile. "Can't you guess Bobby?" "Yea I can guess. Are you going to test all of the newbies or just the ones from the other pack?" Looking at Bobby I wonder if he is worried about Anne Marie. "Just a little. I don't know if she'll be able to handle it." "We will just have to wait and see Bobby." Emerald looks at me wondering what we're talking about. I open the connection and let her hear what has been said. "Alpha can't he test her on his own?" "We will test all the new wolves tomorrow together!" She nods her head once in understanding. After lunch some of the group goes to the waterfall, some go to the game room, and others go to their room. Grabbing her hand I lead Emerald out the back door and into the woods. On the shore of a lake I sit Emerald in the front of a canoe handing her an oar. Grabbing the other oar I push the canoe on into the water and climb into the back. We paddle out to a nice little quiet spot on the other side of the lake. "Alpha this is beautiful." I pull the canoe up on the shore. Taking her by the hand I help her on shore. "Now my pet how are you going to help me to relax?" Getting on her knees and bowing her head she replies, "I'll do anything you ask of me Alpha. I'll ask no questions and have complete trust in you." Moving her hair to the side I look at her permanent mark. Bending down next to her caressing her cheek I bite her neck beside the mark. Emerald whimpers a little then starts moaning in enjoyment. Drawing in a mouth full of blood I delight in the magnificent taste. It's sweet, a little metallic but twice as intoxicating as alcohol. I swallow the blood n lick the bite helping it heal. I lay us down pulling Emerald's head on my chest. "Are you relaxed now Alpha?" "Yes. Very much relaxed now." Emerald stretches as we both relax and enjoy the surrounding scents. Laying with my eyes closed I feel Emerald stiffen. "What's wrong Em?" "What's that smell Alpha? I don't recognize it." "It's ok Em. Relax it's a grizzly but it's headed away from us." Emerald relaxes but I keep testing the air to make sure the grizzly doesn't double back. A couple hours later we hear a howl from the pack house. I pick Emerald up and run us back to the house for dinner. After dinner we go to the game room and play pool until bedtime. The next morning at breakfast I let everyone know what is going on. "All right everyone listen up. There's a grizzly in the territory killing animals and needs taken care of. All the new males are coming with me on a hunt. Emerald will join us to record how well all of you follow my commands. Once the grizzly is killed all of the new wolves will be tested by a ritual during your acceptance ceremony. All those going on the hunt will meet in the study as soon as breakfast is over. Now lets eat." In the study I bring out the map of the territory as Emerald takes down notes. "Now this is what's going to happen. I'm going to send Matt, Adolfo, and Malachi to start over here." I point to a spot on the map that use to be Evan's territory. "I want Emery, Stephen, and Rich to start here." Again I point to a spot on the map. This time in the middle of the territory. "I'll take Galen, and Cam with me to this spot over here." Pointing to the far side of the territory. "We'll track the grizzly until we are within 25 miles of him. Once a group finds him that group tells the rest of us and we meet up." I lead everyone outside. "Emerald I want you to go up on that mountain top. There you will be able to see everyone and everything that goes on." "Of course Alpha." She bows her head then leaps off changing into wolf form as she leaps. The rest of us go to our starting points. We start off tracking the paw prints, claw marks, and other things left behind by the grizzly. "Alpha the grizzly is over here by the waterfall drinking what do you want us to do?" "Just stay where you are Emery. The rest of us will be there in about 2 minutes." "Yes Alpha." I lead my group back to the waterfall and hear Matt leading his group to the waterfall as well. "Ok. Here's what we'll do. I want Matt's group to move in from the left side. Emery's group will move in from behind and my group will move in from the right. Once we have him moving into the water everyone will pick a spot and lunge at him. I'll go for the neck and the kill. Is that understood?" "Yes Alpha!" Everyone agrees. Once we have the grizzly cornered each one of the males take turns lunging at him. Matt goes for a hind paw, Adolfo goes for the front paw, and Malachi goes for a rib shot on the left side. Emery goes for the tail, Stephen goes for the back, and Rich goes for a rib shot on the right side. Galen goes for the hind paw, and Cam goes for the front paw on the right side. Each one lunges, bites, and jumps out of the way of getting hit tiring out the big bear. The grizzly is nine feet tall, weighs about 900 pounds, has 7 inch claws, and is as dark as a moonless night. Swimming out from behind the waterfall under water I head straight at the bear. After about 2 hours of everyone lunging at him he finally starts to ware out. Looking him in the eyes I lunge claw at his eyes and biting his neck ripping his jugular vein in two as the others leap one last time. Letting go and standing back all of us watch as the bear bleeds stumbling around to finally fall just at the edge of the water. "Quickly everyone start skinning and cutting up the meat. The meat will last us a good while through the winter months when meat will be scarce." All of them change quickly into human form, dress, and grab their knives to start on the bear. I call Emerald to me and ask her if she was able to watch every thing clearly. "Alpha may we speak privately?" "Do I detect a little anger in your tone my pet?" Bowing her head, "Please Alpha?" I lead her to the cave behind the waterfall. "Now my pet what would you like to talk about?" "How dare you?" Emerald yells while stomping her foot. "What do you mean?" I chuckle at her. Damn she even looks cute mad. "How dare you go straight at the bear, looking it in the eyes before charging? That's just plain crazy!" I grab Emerald's arms and feel her shaking with fury n fright. "My dear I enjoy the adrenalin rush. Call me crazy if you like but it excites me." I pull her to me and hug her calming her down. "I'm sorry Alpha but you scared the hell out of me watching you do that. Then when you didn't get hurt I got a little mad that you would take such a risk." Laughing at her I take her by the chin making her look at me and kiss her. Roughly at first and then becoming more gentle. Breaking apart and wiping a tear from her cheek, "It wasn't meant to scare you Em. I timed it just right so none of us got hurt doing it that way." "Please warn me next time. So I can at least prepare myself." "I can do that. You made me proud just now." She looks at me with confusion in her eyes. "You asked to talk with me privately instead of just yelling at me in front of the others. That took strength and showed me respect." Sighing with relief, "I shouldn't yell at you at all. You are Alpha. I was just so scared mixed with anger that I was willing to except whatever punishment you gave me for it." She bows her head and looks away from me ashamed. Making her look at me I smile at her. "My beautiful Luna, as long as you show me strength and respect in front of the pack you may yell at me in private. That is if I think you have a reason to be upset." Emerald nuzzles my chest and looks up at me. "Yes Alpha. Thank you." Walking Emerald back the the males I tell them to pack up the meat in the hide to take it back to house. At the house I have Dan scrape and prepare the hide for a blanket. Having the meat put in the refrigerator the hunting party joins the others in the dining room. "Everyone eat hearty because I want no one to get sick easily." Everyone eats well. I lead everyone out back to the ceremony platform in the woods. Emerald starts lighting the candles. Calling all the new wolves up by name I have them sit in front. "I want everyone who's name I call to sit here in front of me. Matt, Emery, Stephen, Rich, Galen, Cam, Adolfo, and Malachi. Also Ann-Marie, Deirdra, Sammi, Kat, Erin, and Brooklyn." As I call out the names Bobby sets up the Absinthe. Straight shots for the males and mixed with water for the females. Each having to drink ten glasses. Emerald and I both joining in to prove that I won't ask anyone to do something I won't do. Every one takes a drink. Suddenly Kat starts puking. Sending her to the infirmary I have everyone else finish. All the rest of the new wolves finish without a problem. "All right now for the ritual. You will repeat and copy all of Luna's words and actions." Emerald steps forward and starts. "By scent, sound, blood, and love we all are bound by trust. Together we are strong, together we will stay." With the tip of her claw Emerald pricks her finger tip. "I offer this drop of blood as a symbol of my devotion to my pack." Placing a drop of blood on a plate and mixing it with wax from a candle to seal the oath. As she gets down on her knees in front of me I speak. "I welcome all of you into my pack." All of the members welcome the new wolves. I pull Emerald off to the side. "Go check on Kat. I want you to find out what's wrong and offer her another way to join the pack. I'll go with you but wait outside." She looks at me and nods. "What other way can she join the pack?" Smiling at her I kiss her head. "Tell her if she proves herself trust worthy and loyal by being your slave she can earn a place in the pack." Emerald smiles at me. "Thank you Alpha. That is very kind of you." "I want you to make it seem like it's your idea Luna. Tell her I'm highly pissed, disappointed, and offended by her not being able to pass the initiation." Bowing her head in respect, "If that is what you wish of me Alpha that is what I'll do." I give her a light slap on her hip as she turns towards the infirmary. I hear her take in a deep breath as we keep walking towards the infirmary. Walking up on the porch I open the door for Emerald giving Kat an angry glare and a growl. I notice Kat jump and cringe hearing my growl. Good I think she should be afraid. Emerald walks up to Tawny, "How is she doing?" Bowing with respect to Emerald, "She's allergic to alcohol Luna. All types of alcohol. I had to use peroxide to clean her arm to give her a shot." Emerald sits down beside Kat on the bed. "Thank you Tawny. The pack is lucky to have you." Kat scoots away from Emerald afraid of what might happen to her. Emerald takes a hold of one of her hands. "Kat I need you to know that Alpha isn't happy. He is disappointed and offended by you not being able to complete the test. However I have talked to him and he is willing to give a second chance. Is that something you would want?" Kat whimpers and nudges Emerald's hand. Emerald moves Kat's head to her lap. "Yes Luna! I'll do anything. I want to make it up to you and Alpha. Please I'll beg if necessary!" Emerald slaps her face. "No! You are to be a strong wolf! You will show respect to, submit to, and obey Alpha and me. Do you understand?" Nodding her head yes Kat whimpers from the slap but stops quickly at Emerald's statement to be strong. Petting her head Emerald smiles, "Good girl. Now you will show you are trust worthy and loyal by being my slave. You are to obey my every word unless Alpha tells you different. From now on you are to get permission to do anything. As soon Tawny says you may leave here you are to go straight to Alpha's room. That is where we should be. I'll give you orders for the night then." Kat nods her head yes in understanding. "The only ones you can talk to until you get to Alpha's room are Tawny and your mate understand?" Kat shakes her head no. "Speak." Bowing her head, "I have no mate Luna but I will only talk with Tawny until I enter Alpha's and your room." Patting her on the head Emerald stands up to leave. "Good girl." I grab Emerald from behind pulling her arms behind her back and her back against my chest as she walks out the door. Nuzzling her neck I whisper in her ear. "That was beautiful my pet. Now what all are you going to make her do to earn our trust and prove her loyalty?" Shocked and excited Emerald trembles against me. "I'm not sure exactly Alpha. I was hoping you could help me with that." Tying her arms at the elbows behind her I throw her over my shoulder and walk to the bedroom. Once in the room I set her on her feet. "Have you forgotten what being a slave is like? Have you forgotten what you have been made to do when you were a slave?" Emerald bows her head and gets down on her knees. "No Alpha. I haven't forgotten." I raise her head to look me in the eyes and she closes them. "Good girl. Open your eyes and look at me." She opens her eyes. "I'm glad you haven't forgotten but it's not something you need to do for me. Do you understand?" A smile creeps on her face. "I understand Alpha. That is unless we are role playing right?" Lightly slapping her cheek I laugh heartily. "Of course my beautiful Luna." There's a knock on the door as I untie her arms. "Alpha Kat is here. She won't talk to me but I found out that she is suppose to be here?" Opening the door I find Kat kneeling next to Jacques. "Emerald someone to see you." Emerald walks up beside me grabs Kat by the hair and makes her crawl in the room. "How did you find out she was suppose to be here Jacques?" "She told Tawny that she was to report to your room once Tawny said she was ok to leave. She also told Tawny that she had no idea of where your room was and asked if someone could show her the way." I thank Jacques for escorting Kat to the room and shut the door. Turning around I see Emerald making Kat kneel at her feet.
