Dear Diary,
I am back again.
We went down to the local pub for a drink and it was quite funny after a few drinks. Because of it being the end of the war and all, they turned a blind eye at our drunkenness. After a while some of the lads fancied their chances and had a go at chatting up some of the French bar maids. One or two them even got lucky.
On the way to the train station where most of us are going to sleep/stay for the night in hope of catching the first train in tomorrow that we can in order to get home as soon as possible.
I now can’t stop think about Mary-Lou, but I have got to stop or I won’t be able to sleep.
I think I shall go to bed now even if I can’t sleep.
War is unfair and so is life.
Michael.

This is the first storyI have posted on Wattpad and I hope you enjoyed it. Sorry it was kind of short, I wrote it for my History lesson last year. I will write more stories but I promise they will be better than this one as this is kind of boring.
