I controlled my heart and my soul from reacting differently.
What was that?
" Heyy! Shaizaan " I heard her call me. I looked at her and said,
" Huh? "
" Are you okay? " She asked.
" Yeah " I replied and gulped.
" I was saying your name with the great empire business will be the revenge itself. " Zahra said.
" Yeah... " I nodded.
There was a silence.
" May I asked about the step mother thing BiJaan mentioned earlier...? " I asked and looked at her.
" If you don't want to, it's okay... " I said.
" You are copying my line. " She giggled while saying that.
" Yeah .. " I nodded with a smile.
She didn't reply about her stepmother... Is it that tragic? I thought to myself.
" By the way, I'll drop you and even pick you from college. " I said with a bright smile.
" Why? " She asked.
" I can use a cab. " She said.
" Just so... " I replied.
" Is it because you feel pity for me, your sister? " She asked looking at me.
" It's not pity. And I don't need a sister. " I replied.
" Why do you not consider me as your sister...? " She asked.
" I don't consider every girl as my sister. Answer me. Why do you want me to become your brother? " I asked her with crossed arms over my chest as hers.
" I call every guy, my brother. " Her reply made me laugh.
" Then who will you marry? " I asked jokingly.
" I don't want to marry. " I heard her say and looked at her whose smile turned to sadness.
" Ohh... "
" By the way do you know, Qizra is married? " I told her.
" Yeah, I know. She's married to Izhaan. "
" And he is my friend and my Mamu's son. " I informed her.
" Ohh. Then you are her brother in-law. " She said.
" Yeah. " I nodded.
" They went on date yesterday. I haven't heard from him. " I informed her.
" What? He is back. " She was shocked and looked at her mobile.
" You are not going to call her right now, are you? "
" I am calling her. " I saw her clicked on her mobile. The ring for call began.
" Where are you? " I heard her ask.
" What are you doing at the terrace? "
" What??!!! " I looked at her wide eyes. And looked behind me and was beyond shock.
