The cold air bites at my cheeks as Nat navigates the truck through the snowy landscape. Every bump in the road sends a shiver down my spine, but I stay focused on the mission at hand.

The truck's dashboard lights cast an eerie glow on my sister's face as she navigates the treacherous terrain, each twist and turn a reminder of the high stakes of our mission.

Beside me, Clint sits in stoic silence, his eyes fixed on the road ahead.

Suddenly, the tranquility of the snowy landscape is shattered by the sound of gunfire. Enemies materialize from the swirling mist, their weapons glinting ominously in the dim light. It's a heavy reminder that our enemies will stop at nothing to see us fall.

As the battle intensifies, Captain America arrives on a motorbike, his shield gleaming in the harsh light. With a swift dismount, he abandons the bike at the side of the road, ready to face the enemy head-on with unwavering determination.

But we're not ones to back down from a challenge. With a determined grit, Nat activates the truck's defensive systems, unleashing a barrage of countermeasures that send our adversaries reeling. The air crackles with energy as our foes scramble to regroup, their futile attempts to stop us only fueling our resolve.

In the midst of the chaos, I catch glimpses of my teammates in action. Cap leads the charge, his shield a shining beacon of hope amidst the darkness.

He seems to notice that someone is looking at him. He turns around and I am once again faced with those steel blue eyes. His face shifts from surprised to angry and something else. Is it sadness?

I don't know where he came from exactly as he didn't fly with us from New York. I guess no one had told him that I am going to the mission.

There's a part of me that looks up to him, that sees in him the qualities I aspire to embody. His selflessness, his unwavering commitment to doing what's right – these are traits I admire, even if I don't always understand them.

As he deflects blows with his shield and delivers devastating counterattacks, I can't help but feel a twinge of envy. I envy his unwavering certainty, his unshakable belief in the righteousness of his cause. It's a stark contrast to the doubts and uncertainties that often plague my own mind.

As our enemies close in, Thor raises his hammer high, summoning lightning from the heavens with a thunderous roar. The air crackles with electricity as bolts of energy streak across the sky, illuminating the battlefield with an otherworldly glow.

I watch in awe as Thor wields Mjolnir with effortless grace, each swing unleashing a devastating wave of energy that sends our adversaries flying.

Despite his immense strength, there's a gentleness to his movements, a reluctance to cause unnecessary harm. It's a contrast to the brutal efficiency of some of our other teammates, and it speaks volumes about the kind of man Thor truly is.

Hulk roars with fury, his voice echoing across the snowy landscape like a thunderclap. With a mighty leap, he bursts from the confines of the cabin, his massive form crashing into our enemies with earth-shattering force.

It's as if he's tapped into some primal force of nature, a living embodiment of chaos and destruction.

Iron Man flies ahead of us, trying to get into the castle. For all his technological marvels, Tony is still just a man, burdened by his own mortality and haunted by the ghosts of his past. It's a burden I know all too well, a constant reminder of the sacrifices we made in the past without realizing what impact they would have on our future selfs.

"Shit", Tony says as he discovers the force field around the castle.

"Language!"

I look at Nat and roll my eyes. She laughs before we start to fight once again.

"Jarvis, what's the view from upstairs?" I hear Steve through my earpiece.

"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield.", Jarvis' robotic voice answers. "Strucker's technology is well beyond any other Hydra base we've taken.

"Loki's scepter must still be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it.", Thor says while fighting of some of Hydra's soldiers.

"At long last."

Nat and I stay together. We cover each other's blind spots, anticipate each other's moves, and react in perfect harmony. Where her fists land, my follow-up attacks are swift and decisive, leaving no room for our enemies to recover.

"At long last is lasting a little long, boys." I grunt in between gun shots fired at the enemy.

Clint laughs. "Yeah. I think we lost the element of surprise."

Clint's arrows whistle through the air, finding their targets with deadly accuracy. His skill with the bow is unparalleled, each shot a testament to years of training and experience. Together, the three of us form a formidable trio, our strengths complementing each other in perfect harmony.

"Wait a second.", Tony starts. "No one else is gonna deal with the fact that cap just said "Language"?"

"I know.", Steve says, visibly annoyed. He sighs. "Just slipped out."

My heart pounds in my chest as I face my first real test since leaving the Red Room. The memories of my training flood back – the pain, the fear, the relentless conditioning designed to strip away her humanity. But I push those thoughts aside, focusing instead on the task at hand.

As the battle rages on, I find herself locked in a deadly dance with my adversaries. My movements are fueled by instinct and adrenaline, my training kicking in as I fights for her life. With each strike, I feel a sense of liberation – a defiance against the forces that sought to control me.

The forest grows quiet as we continue to defeat every soldier that tries to attack. The next thing I see is Clint, lying on the floor. Towering over him is a tall blonde man.

"Shit, shit, shit." I murmur and start to head over.

"Language.", the Captain exclaims, angrier than before.

"Oh shut up.", is all I say. I seriously don't have time for this.

I am too late. Once I arrive next to Clint, he's already been hit. I look over at Nat.

"Clint's hit!", she says into her earpiece while running over.

"We have an Enhanced on the field.", Cap says, stating the obvious.

"Somebody wanna deal with that bunker?", Nat asks and starts to treat Clint's wounds.

Not a second later, Hulk smashes the bunker till nothing but metal scraps are left.

"Thank you."

Steve continues to fight the Hydra soldiers off with his shield. "Stark, we really need to get inside."

"I'm closing in."

"Stark, if you need help up there just say so.", I say.

"You know what, that's not that bad of an idea. Hey Thor, bring our little Romanoff up here, won't you?"

"Aye."

Next thing I know, Thor grabs me and carries me with him, letting Mjolnir lead the way up the mountain.

If it wasn't for the traumatic things that happened here, this place would be quite beautiful. The valley one could overlook is truly mesmerizing.

He let's me go and I land right next to Stark on the snowy courtyard of the castle.

"You might want to hit the north tower. It shuts the field off."

"And you couldn't say that any sooner?", he says, trying to sound annoyed.

"No sorry, there was a few things I had to do first. Surviving for example."

"Understandable."

I laugh.
